Maybe i can't go home on sunday
It was worth all the tries
Looks like I'm behind in the seasonal events. I just got home from my last shift on placement so will be doing my usual thread post later on when I have the TV. I am looking forward to these events now
A Spec Seasonal Time Trials and Drift Events (Updated 6/8/15)
A new game has appeared on the PS4 which is really fun. What happens when you cross car racing with football? Well thats simple.
Anyway. Back to GT6. Here are the new seasonal events and you all know what to do
Non Racing Car Super Lap (500PP SH)
Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro Chrome Line (500PP SH)
Ferrari 458 Italia ‘09 (550PP SS) - Reduce power and add SH tyres
Mazda RX500 '70 (500PP SH)
Suzuki GSX-R/4 '01 (500PP CS) - With SH tyres
Suzuki GSX-R/4 '01 (500PP SH)
Nascar Stock Car Time Trial
2013 Jeff Gordon 24 Chevrolet SS (Nascar Road Tune) (627PP RH)
Japanese Non-Racing Car Drift Trial
Nissan GTR Black edition '12 (Drift Seasonal Setup)
Toyota GT86 '12 (Drift Seasonal Setup)
American Racing Car Drift Trial
Good for gold at the Non Racing Car Super Lap. Power limit to reach 500pp. The hard tires added a bit of oversteer, but still easily controlled with tc0. Much fun, thanks
I have a drift car (new tune) created which I managed to achieve gold with but I will tinker with it some more before publishing. I am not 100% happy with it as yet but will try and sort it out tomorrow if I have the time.
Like the fact that you're setting up the prize cars, always interresting.
question:Already thought about a trans tune for the Lexus VGT ?
there was a reset problem in that period.
When something is free, it is worth dropping some custom parts on it to see what it can do. Some work out well and they get published, others are not that great and get shoved in the stock garage for eternity
I am now only 0:00.328 behind @Soren Jacquet on my friends list using the Mazda RX500 '70 and getting closer, and I think that the Danish rabbit maybe starting to get a little bit .
It´s still far away sooooo I´m not yet HEHE
Nascar Super Lap
That 0.328 could be a mile away or one turn just depends on where he is loosing the time. was he in the lead and botched? or is he not pushing hard enough all the way around....
damn, didn't read this well,i've used the tune on page 43 .
although that run i had felt good.
gonna try the tune on page 106.
I used the Shotaliema Acura HSC '04 at 500pp for gold at Grand Valley Non-Race Car Event. Adjusted PL to achieve PP setting, otherwise as per your tune.
Hey @Otaliema I am just ahead of that Danish rabbit until the second to last corner before the bridge, and that where I lose out and the car I think has to much body roll going into the corners. I play with the Mazda RX500 '70 later on and do some minor adjustments to the car .
Hey @Soren Jacquet I am only 100s of a second behind you now in the Mazda RX500 '70 and getting closer an closer to your time, and it will be only a matter of time before I catch you .
Edie: Now only 0:00.16 behind the Danish rabbit now.
I have now taken the lead with the Mazda RX500 '70 of a time of 1:07.134 and thanks to @shaunm80 for the tune . I am giving the Mazda RX500 '70 a long rests now.
I really suck at drifting, but the car and the setup got 1582 pts on the second attempt on the japanese non-race car drift trial. I just try to get silver or if I'm lucky gold... take the credits and be done with it. Thank you. cheers tc.
This drift event is quite tricky compared to past events. I managed to get gold but it took me ages to do that this time around.
I too went for that car. At first i found it a tad sluggish and unresponsive. But after a few tweaks here and there i managed a 4300+ run where 2,2k was grabbed in the first sector alone.
Fun times throwing a huge car like that around a tight section of a track.
Welcome back! where have you been hiding? Haven't seen you around for a little while. Hope you well.
Thanks. Well.. work has kept me both busy and exhausted lately. Haven't really had the time or energy to be as frequent here or on the seasonals. I had a spurt of extra energy earlier and that's mainly the reason i had a whack at it.
Hope you are doing well?
1:13:318 was my time for the NASCAR Stock Car Time Trial seasonal race. It took a few laps to get the time for the silver... No gold for me... its cool. great tune (the gears did not match to specs that you posted.) Thank you. cheers tc.
My placements have gone good this year but I have some uni work to re-do over the summer so thats not too great. I haven't put as much time into GT6 much lately due to uni either.
The gears don't seem to work for anyone other than me.. Not sure why that is. Try and match them as close as possible if you can.
1:13:966 is the time that I got the silver with this car and this tune. Awesome. And Thank you.. Cheers TC.
Try the RX500 tune. That is really quick for this event.
Want me to take a look at it?
I'm on a new PS3 again the drive was dying in my last one the disk eject problem persisted despite my best efforts so just replaced it today so have to DL all patches again.
Hello Guys , i'm at home today and got 4 Gold already, 3rd place at both TT's With the Nascar i did a 1:06.690 , i little problem with throttlecontrol and a 1:07.287 at Grand Valley . maybe in the Afternoon i try it again
Hey @shaunm80 I just did a 1:06.718 in your Suzuki GSX-R/4 '01 at the Grand Valley, and it only take me 3 laps to get the time.
Excellent job. Very impressive time. I am not a huge fan of this car as its not really a normal road car but it is mighty in these events.
I am not surprised that your that high. All that thumb training has been paying off! Good to have you back on GT6 temporarily.
