@Pete05, I finally got in the two Ferraris. They sound different. If you were let down by the road car, the race car is a bit louder and slightly more mechanical sounding. Nothing great. Race car has a 5 speed. Road car a 4 speed. Race car averages only about 1.5 seconds faster on the same tires. I don't think either is really all that great of a drive.

Thanks Cory. Listening to that replay Shaun found yesterday, I didn't find it that aurally inspiring to be honest. It reminded me of my Mum's old 3-cylinder, 50bhp Daihatsu Charade when you got it above 4000rpm!
I've since learnt the GTO has 4
different noises available depending on which exhaust you have fitted so it's a 20 million dollar gamble really :scared:
If anyone has watched the replay of the GTO on the motorsportretro website I listed yesterday, you'll know the sound I'm after.

I know this video is a little bit off topic but original Ferrari Sounds are just amazing . How i miss this F1 sound :)

Oh yes. The last of the Ferrari F1 V12s from 1995. I remember the first time I heard this engine from the on-board camera. Can't remember which GP it was but I couldn't believe the revs that wonderful engine was pulling. Even now it sounds like 25,000rpm. Magnificent.
And to think Maranello, under the guidance of Dr. John Barnard, replaced this car/engine combination with the ugly V10 powered example Eddie Irvine once questioned as an actual F1 & said handled like a bus.

This is your Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R '99 (400PP) 1 lap at the Mid-Field Raceway, I really enjoy driving this car using my G29 wheel and on other tracks as well. This car handles so well in and out of the corners and I have no issues with this car .

Looks like it handles the corners exceptionally well considering it's an FF layout car. Nice and clean lines.

Just out of curiosity, what time did you get on that lap?

Very nice driving lines and great time for this track too. Thanks for the review and for an excellent video once again. The car handled the long curve after the tunnel really well with your wheel. :)

This sports SUV isn't the best car in the game and it isn't the fastest 4WD ever but it will surprise you with its agility. It is rather heavy so don't expect it to corner like a Ferrari and you might enjoy driving this beast of a Chelsea tractor.

Enjoy this little sidewinder and make sure to shred some tires.

Thank You @LordJCS   for your drift tunes.

I just got gold with this tune, My score is 8,953, that's good for No.1 on my friends list. 👍 :sly:

I tried your other tune The Blue Ringed Octopus, I was only getting to just under 8,500 with it but I like it. It was the 2nd,3rd and 5th short drift parts I couldn't hit a 1,000 or more on any of them, but I kept trying.

When I saw you did an RX-7 drift tune, I was like YESSS!!! I have to try it. I really like RX-7's they handle really good either racing or drifting.

I am going to try your other tunes you just put up too, I like both of those cars. Really like that color on the G37, look's Great. 👍

I haven't forgotten about you @shaunm80 👍 :D

Going to try the tunes you just posted also. :)

Cheers Smiley.gif

Thanks for the kind words.

Glad to hear that at least one worked out for you.

The color on the G37 is called "Copper red mica " should you feel inclined to try it out for yourself.

You can find that color on the Mazda DEMIO SPORT '10.

Here's a tune i created earlier today. Still haven't decided on a name for it. But let's get down to the nitty gritty shall we?

Now you can change the rims to a bigger one if you'd like, but only once you've completed all the steps in the tune.

I went for the Enkei RPF1's yet again on this one since i think the fit the car nicely. And of course i painted them in GT6 Chrome 005

And for the body i went with Maziora Andromeda II.

If you guys can think of a name for it, please let me know.

You guys know that i tend to use a certain VGT car when drift events allow me to?

Well, there are now 2 VGT cars i'll keep in rotation for upcoming events.

This one is a complete brute even in this moderate power level stuck with.

Be mindful about one thing however, it has really slow transitions due to it not being in it's final form yet. But i thought i should share it none the less.

Perhaps one of you can tinker with it and see if you can tame the "Kraftwerk".

Your are doing a great job Shaun, you should be proud because of being the No.1 garage on this forum.:cheers:
I had to make a few modifications to my garage as I ran out of space to insert new links and new tunes on the tune index. Apparently there is a 150,000 character limitation for each thread comment. Will get back to linking this weekend hopefully. :)
