Exhuast Clip tell me what you think

An exhuast clip of my car. Sound quality isn't top notch since its just a digital poaint and shoot camera.

I'm not so interested in burnouts...just WOT drive-bys and medium throttle launches. If I want to see an F-body burnout I'd just look at my window why I do one in my Camaro.

I'm not so interested in burnouts...just WOT drive-bys and medium throttle launches. If I want to see an F-body burnout I'd just look at my window why I do one in my Camaro.

Yea but I like doing them everyonce in awhile. Haven't dune one in so long cuz tires aint cheap. I'll work on getting a better vid i just gotta find someone who has a good camera. Everybody I know is like me just got a cheap digital camera that happens to be able to take videos.

Actually no becuase my dad came up with a plan to keep me from being majorly stupid. The car is titled to him. I payed him for the car and he just added me as a driver. I belive its somewhere around $100 a month that he pays ( I didn't ask him to but he won't let me anyway, I'm still gunna pay him back one day ). The car has the absolute bare minimum insurace on so if I wreck it, too bad. Works well too I have had it almost 2 years and have only been involved in one accident that was not my fault.

Can't wait to see/hear the new videos! This weekend I might break out the digital camcorder and record some of my Camaro's exhaust. He sounds good even at his age. *edit* Infact I got a compliment today from a customer at work driving a new ZO6--he said: "that thing sounds way too good to look like that!" I chuckled.

That's not too bad looking third gen. It has potential. I mean it could be worse but I've seen you talkin about the miles on it. Sounds like one stout old car. Which motor do you have in it? The 305 or the 350?

Thanks for the compliment. Its got the 305TBI, all 170bhp 255ft.lbs of it. Well, maybe 18 years ago it had those numbers. I am tossing around the idea of either the LT1+twin turbo+4L60E, LS1+supercharger+4L80E, or something completely off the wall...a BMW 5.0L V12 (M70). I need to find someone that has that engine out of a 7/8-series so I can get some measurements of the mounts and engine sizes.

Yea, I would not mind driving that car at all. My favorite color of third gen and it looks so clean.

If you were to do an engine swap I'd probably say do the LS1 supercharger idea or BMW type thing. I keep hearing that LT1's can be money pits with there Opti-spark. I've never heard specifics but I always see people talking about how annoying it can get. Also LS1 is just a better motor. lol

Nice T/A xXSilencerXx, I love LS1's. That Bassani sounds really good too. Have you done anything else to it? You're dad did the same thing as mine did for my insurance. It's titled under his name and I'm listed as the primary driver. It's about $100 per month for me too.

JCE, Your L03 sounds pretty good. Is that a Flowmaster? That blue LS1 RS is an amazing car. The guy who owns it posts over at thidgen.org too. Great site if you're not already a member.

JCE, Your L03 sounds pretty good. Is that a Flowmaster? That blue LS1 RS is an amazing car. The guy who owns it posts over at thidgen.org too. Great site if you're not already a member.

The muffler is a Flo Pro and the tips are some custom rectangular ones I bought at the muffler shop. The whole catback costed me $320 USD in 2001. The only other "performance" mod is a K&N air filter. I'm also a member at thirdgen, under the name "VonKaiser".

Here's a better video of me giving it some good throttle. To toot my own horn I think it sounds rather nice for its age.

Course I painted my truck since that video and here's what it looks like now:

It's a '73 C20 with a 350/th400 and im currently waiting for the snow to melt so I can finish working on the engine and can get it running again. Believe it or not before I worked on it, the plug wires were in a different order than they should have been, yet it still ran!

You need to fix the rust! Other than rust and the tailgate it looks to be in ok shape bodywise. I like those older GM trucks (and Fords too). Oh, stick on some smaller side mirors paint them the body color too, that will look cool.

Haha I once I fix up the engine I plan on selling it so I can put a new engine in my Jeep. The bed floor is pretty rusted out and theres some rust holes in the cab, and the heater doesn't work...heck it's not even insured or registered!
