Kaz probably has his best people on this right now...now that's the sad part (it stops them from doing whatever they normally do at PD)

yes Kaz has probably taken his best people of making more seasonal b-spec events and rushed them onto this glitch... or maybe he don't really care as the nurburg glitch has been open for months and no patch has been introduced to fix this one?

I see this relatively harmless, unless someone finds a way to get under the track.

But I don't see that happening as of right now.

Guys, I'm really sorry if you think posting this glitch was inappropriate. I even kinda get your point. But this has turned out to be a pretty harmless glitch after all. There's no way to get under the track, or to drive too far from the actual track. You might get a sensation of joy once from breaking through the barrier and that's it.

As to how I found this glitch. I was fooling around and testing the Black Edition GT-R's new gearbox in the Speed Test and let go of the controller (I didn't have my wheel plugged in yesterday) to have a sip of soda from my bottle. This caused the car to grind the wall, and it soon penetrated the barrier as so. I found this quite interesting, and having nothing better to do, I just grabbed the contoller again and kept pushing the throttle, eventually going through the whole barrier. Wow! I then laughed my ass off and decided to take a video of it, because all sorts of stuff get posted on GTPlanet anyway, and I thought someone might be interested.

Normally I dont glitch in the game, but being bored I tried it and took pics of the high banks, looks interesting

This track is really interesting, nice pics ^
Its either unfinished or tweak-able.
Anyways, if they expand ssrX i hope they wont charge money for it.

Good find OP 👍

When you use a gtr(35) to drive anti-clockwise , and keep on crashing on the barrier in the straight road, the right part will go in and keep on crashing ,then u may drive out of the course.

Btw,old news?

Cool, what R35? V-spec, black edition, TC???????

Yes old + it works in both directions.

Scottish GT5
What gtr?

I used black edition. Its a cool glitch but unfortunely it keeps reseting you on the track, i really wanted to go on the ring road to the right of the pits. But it resets you :(

My guess is that the game needs something more substancial to help the players be entertained besides trying to find glitches and exploits...

People would do it regardless; that's just how people are. Nothing wrong with it, in fact it should be celebrated.
I'm not excusing the game's faults, I just don't think this sort of behaviour should be used as an "example".

I will never understand the joyment some people seem to get out of doing things like this.

Just "bragging rights" I guess. Nothing new really though, people have been trying to find bugs and glitches in computergames since the first day they were invented.

PD must be loving the fact that there's so many dedicated unpaid game-testers working for them.
