Well I'd have to assume it went smoothly! 👍

I'd have to say it was very slow before it went down but now it's super fast.

Please let me know if you see anything out of the ordinary as you explore the site.

I don't know if it's a temporary thing or if I have to reset my settings but I'm seeing the time in the posts am but it's pm right now.

I must've logged on just as it was fixed-- it wasn't working 2 minutes ago, then I went to GTP.org and tried again. Now it's fine, and a lot faster than before. Thanks, Jordan!

Ditto.

Otherwise I’m genuinely surprised how quickly it went. Thanks Jordan. :D

The time should be fixed now, but it looks like the last few posts made on the new server got the wrong time recorded in the database. This will really freak people out...

If you can see this, you're viewing the site on our new server! :) Please let me know if you see anything out of the ordinary as you explore the site.

Well, I notice a lot of "
" while quoting, and in the "your essentials" thread, there is some weird ordering of posting going on.

I think there's a time issue. Posts are showing up as posted on August 3rd, 18:42.

And it's only August 2nd here.

It seems to have the correct time at the bottom though...

*EDIT* - WOW! Now my 'new' post has entered halfway up the page. I think there's a serious time issue here...

yup seems to be a time issue

My post should be the last one I posted at 11:14 am and I'm 3+ GMT ..... this going to freak everybody out lol

I notice the link http://www.gtplanet.org/ on the address bar doesn't change when I move form a thread to other

Is this because the new server?

Edit: wow my post in the middle.

I'm glad everything went well, Jordan.

The search function is now quicker faster and pages don't time out anymore. 👍

I think Jordan's gotten used to this sort of thing now, he's a pro. :sly:

;)

Uh? That is very weird Ferrari_chris!

See now mine posted above Jordan's. :indiff: Sorry for double-posting I'm completely disoriented right now.

Until about 3 hours ago, the time was set to 12 hours ahead of what it should have been - and since the threads show posts in chronological order, any posts made before 8 AM GMT will appear at the end of the thread...

Well I don't understand completely what that means but I get the jist of it.

It's doing it in this thread too...

What he said...

Funny, the IT guys in my company just say, "We are aware of the problem and will fix it as time allows." "As time allows" can mean anything from a few minutes to a month later, depending on whether it got the attention of executive management or not.

If they say that, they're Support Technicians, not Consultants. ;)

We Consultants talk an entirely different language.

Attachments have been re-enabled. :)

Well done Jordan!👍 GTP seems to be running much smoother and faster now(for me anyway).

Tommi:D

This is weird. I can't visit the site directly, but i can visit it using an online proxy site.
This only happens when i visit the site of my school and this site.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
edit: i really thought the site was still offline, and found it strange nothing was posted on the .org blog about any problems :)

edit2: problem solved by deleting internet files
