Best moment for me was when 3 cars hammered side by side into the chicane without any contact,that was truly awesome. :dunce:👍
My best race since playing online so far!!!

And guys please do not apologise for punting,just compare the official events...:yuck:THAT'S punting:sly::)

Indeed, I think that happened in a very good race between you (dark grey F430, if I recall correctly), me (GTP_Hun, white F430) and Sinibomb (red Clio).

I had never met both of you before and so I remember to think, while braking for the chicane "Oh well, I'm going to be spinning in the grass in about 2 seconds" ... but somehow we all pulled it off nicely. 👍

So what are the competitive cars in this event?
 
Competitive cars appear to be Ferrari F430 and Ferrari 512BB, although LP2K was running a Skyline Coupe/Tuned very well and staying with everyone.

If you're doing regular 1'54s that's great, and 1'53s are excellent and will undoubtedly see you at the front.

EDIT: I probably won't be in until 20.00 GMT

use your F430 650pp tune just bring back the PP and adjust the gearbox a bit

Thats too easy of course Room.... :) I did a tune for the NSX-R... also pretty quick... but I tried the F430 as well and it works! 👍 So I think I'll switch between the two...
 
This is a great race, once I learn to get a bit faster in my 599, but I'll definitely be back later for some more racing.

look at dc and blitz tuning shop might be more but those got them for sure
 
I thought that at the start we were all supposed to pull over into the pitlane, so I jam on brakes only to see a bunch of F430's race off into the distance. I'm a bit confused as to what we should do at the start, please enlighten me.
 
Yeah, sorry.. I think Timppaq has missed the starting procedure from first post, and he has been on P1(host) in all races so everyone has just followed him. :)

And that what you though is still the right way, I think it's good to let the punters and faster clean drivers ahead. ;)

Edit: Having a little brake (gotta eat :)). Hoping to see someone still here a little later. ;)

Sorry Timppaq for jamming on brakes like that, the guy who went off in front of me rejoined the track at 20km/h as I was coming round the corner and I had to brake hard to avoid hitting him.
 
no worries.. Sorry, I really didn't know what to do at the start, :lol: ...I just went on and looked for a safe spot to slow down. My Suzuka tune works ok here, only the power/weight ratio needs adjusting, but I think I got it figured out already. 👍 Good races, thanks for those. Too drunk to be much competitive anymore, tried to drive manual clutch in the last race, and the results were just what I would think them to be.. :lol: good fun, folks. 👍
 
Would like to race some more today but had to get off the PS3 and do other things:grumpy:

I'm going to set-up a 430 for this event. :) The 650 race at Daytona is really starting to irritate me...or at least most of the drivers in it. Hopefully this event is a lot cleaner in terms of action. I'll see you guys out there soon. 👍

I had a good race with you earlier. But I had to leave and do something else. I wish I could've stayed on longer, it's such an awesome event.
