Expert Super GT too easy?

Did anyone else find this really easy? I had almost lapped the last car in my final lap and had a 1 minute gap between us. I used a Toyota Minolta. Just seemed far to easy for an expert event?

Probably because you used an LMP/Group C against Super GT cars.

Well, I find all of the GT Life events way too easy in A-spec. That's why the Online Competitions section of this forum exists; for people looking for a greater challenge.

Obviously, if you're looking for a challenge, that's the true place to go.

But, if you're a little nervous about online competitions, or a bit nervous about your connection quality, then I recommend de-tuning your car a bit.


But, no matter what, it almost always seems like GT5 is too easy.

The only races I can't win against the AI, are in Formula 1/Formula Gran Turismo cars, and the NASCAR race at Daytona.

I agree with what Aleksandar said. In order to find competition, *you* need to put yourself in a competitive situation. The game's AI is designed to be tough enough for skilled drivers, but, light enough for "casual" gamers.

If you're looking for a challenge, it's your job to look for that challenge.

The idea is to not use an over powered car.

Yeah, The cars did look more like touring cars than racing cars I must admit. However comparing this to the historic racing car race I just thought it was odd that it was in expert.

Well, I can't handle overly fast cars. I won all the other races in cars which were same or slower than the AI cars.

Honestly the Historic was seriously undertiered. Unless you have a 2J or a good Toyota 7 tune, you have one hell of a race on your hands.

I won all the other races in cars which were same or slower than the AI cars.

No worries, I did the same. Too impatient to race fair against the AI for 20 laps.

I have to agree with most here, you can have a challenging race, but it is up to you to make it a challenge. Anyone can put themselves in an overpowered car and blow away the AI. Try giving up 50 to 100 pp to the AI cars and run CS tires...you will have a race then!

I haven't looked at the event in probably over a year but I thought it was restricted so only GT500/Super GT/GT300 could enter?

Meh- A Spec & B Spec (for me) are for nothing but $$$. I drive the most powerful car I can that fit into spec, or put Bob in an X1 and get the money.

Some of us actually enjoy playing the game though, and online is not always a viable alternative.

I'm only doing it for money really, I only have like 1 million so can't afford to race with a challenge

Because you're in a car with 1000hp against cars with 600hp.

Honestly, you don't say. With a Group C car against GT500 cars, you know what car is going to win before the race has even started. Use a GT500 like everyone else in the event is using and the event won't be so easy.

The event is just restricted to Japanese cars. You can even use a X2010/2011 if you wanted to.

That's a huge fail in my eyes. Just for fun, I completed this event with a Toyota NASCAR with Sports Soft tyres....

I played one-on-one basketball against a 6 year old today, I won 21-0. Forgot to mention that I'm 6'3" 230lbs and I've been playing basketball for 23 years.

A 1000 hp racecar against a car that has half the HP and almost double the weight...
