Guys I dont know what happened last night I really dont.
Mo your a life saver for taking over hosting duties this race was really a race I knew could not be missed as it was such a good race format.
When I see all these happy posts about drivers races it makes me happy I put so much time and effort into creating the championships but of course I have to thank mo, shark, and addictions for there help too.
As for my Internet I still dont know what the hell is wrong, I spent all week including all day yesterday getting my G25 and my Racing Rig tweaked and fine tuned for this race, everything from fully stripping my G25 and cleaning it out and re greasing the components to fully rebuilding my Rig so everything was perfect.
Then I sat down like a kid in a sweet shop ready to launch the race and boom non stop trouble.
I still dont know what is wrong it took me 5 mins to load up GTP and another 5 to get to this page, I dont even know if its going to work when I click send to post this post my connection is really that slow.
1st off all day yesterday my Internet had been really slow on my laptop, But I put this down to there being updates ready to install in the back ground.
Then when I went to switch on the PS3 to start the race my PSN took a very long time to log in, Then once it finally signed me into PSN it then took even longer to load in GT5, so long that I had to reset twice because I thought it had froze up on me.
Then once I finally got onto GT5 all the menu's took ages to load up and the loading the lobby was no different.
So once I got the lobby up and running I saw people started to join, But I saw that any one who was not in the UK could not join my lobby.
Mo and Shark and about 3 others were getting kicked from the lobby as soon as they entered.
So I decided to reset the PS3 and at the same time reset the router, This made things a lot worse after this I could not even get an Internet connection to my router, it just kept syncing and not receiving any signal.
So I then got on the phone to virgin media, They then informed me that there was no problem in my area code and it had to be a fault with just my line, so she then checked my account which came back ok, The bill was payed and there no reason for my Internet troubles which left my right back were I was before........LOST.
So after some time I finally got a signal to my router and I can just load the Internet on my laptop but everything is slow as hell no YouTube videos will play at all pages take like 5 mins to load, And the connection gets overloaded to easy and crashes.
I will give my PS3 another go today but last night even though I got my connection back on my laptop I still cant get a connection on the PS3, It picks my IP and Nat type in the connection test but as soon as it tests the upload/download speeds it comes up failed.
I was hoping to wake up today and it would be back to normal but its not, So I will spend today getting to the bottom of this.
