What is FSR?

Federation of Street Racers is an ambitious project centered around uniting fans of Street racing:
Touge, Wangan, Drift, etc., under one organization,
and providing them with an open forum to discuss and convene,
and participate in organized competitions featuring their favorite styles of racing.

FSR was born from the joining of
Legend of the Streets and Wangan Masters Tournament clubs.
We welcome players of all skill levels.

and, once there, you'll be able to mingle with members
and they will be help you with any questions you may have.
Or, you can post on this forum.

Inspired by Initial D Arcade Stage, L.O.T.S. was founded on July 1st, 2011 by TimberW on Gran Turismo 5 and adopts the name and some concepts from the game. Over time, LotS has become a community of Touge and Wangan enthusiasts.
-----
Wangan Masters Tournament was founded in 2011 by SolidSnake7735 on GT5 with the idea of providing a venue to live out your wildest highway racing fantasies, inspired by the Wangan Midnight Anime and Maximum Tune arcade games.

TOUGE BATTLE HOTLIST:

  1. TBD
WANGAN BATTLE HOTLIST:

What is The Hotlist?
A ranking of drivers for every class, and overall.
  • The MASTER HOTLIST rankings are based on a driver's Reputation score overall.
    • This ranking takes into account ALL score earned by a driver.
  • The BATTLE HOTLIST rankings are based on the drivers' wins in ranked battles.
    • The first driver to win a battle in a season will be ranked No. 1.
    • Subsequent winners will be ranked lower in consecutive order.
    • The battle rankings are independent from Reputation points rankings. (see MASTER HOTLIST).
  • The Rankings are updated weekly, time permitting.
  • A driver must earn one (1) win in order to be ranked.

CHALLENGES
  • As an unranked driver, you may challenge any driver for REPUTATION POINTS.
  • As an unranked driver, you may challenge ONLY the #10 (or lowest ranked) driver for their position on the Battle Hotlist.
  • As an unranked driver, you reserve the right to deny ANY challenges to battle.
  • As a ranked driver, you may challenge ONLY the driver ONE (1) rank above you for their POSITION on the Battle Hotlist.
  • Drivers who are absent for a prolonged period of time may lose their position on the Battle Hotlist - the Master Hotlists is persistent between event periods.
  • You cannot challenge a driver 2 or more rankings above you for their position on the Class Hotlist.

Scoring Guide (WIN/LOSE; 1st/2nd/3rd):

  • 1v1 Sudden Death (CMSD, Touge ONLY)
A gap of half, 1, 2, or 3 seconds determines the margin for victory. To win the Leader must increase the distance between them and the chaser above the specified Gap. If the leader fails to do so, the two rivals will swap places and go into round 2. The chaser can win if they overtake the leader and maintain their lead until the finish line.*
    • The rolling start speed is not more than 68km/h or 40mph.
    • The starting point is coming in to the first corner of a course, or before the starting point of a Battle Stage ('cordoned-off portion of a course designated for battle).
    • To transition to the next round, the leader should switch lanes and slow down while the chaser will go into the front and slow down.
    • *The chaser is not allowed to overtake the leader in the final straight of a stage.
      • CMSD3, 3-second gap - 150/50
      • CMSD2, 2-second gap - 200/50
      • CMSD1, 1-second gap - 250/50
      • CMSD Initial D, 0.500-second gap. The race ends if you spin or are passed. - 300/50
  • 1v1 Hot Version Style (CMHV, Touge ONLY)
The margin of victory is 1 Car-length (5 Meters:15 Feet) and will be judged by spectators in the lobby watching the battle.
    • This form of battle may or may not include a u-turn
    • The battle is always started with a 68km/h or 40mph rolling start
    • During this type of battle, there will be NO PASSING ALLOWED
    • *Pitting to repair is allowed between rounds, but not during a run.
      • CMHV3, Best of 3 - 150/50
      • CMHV5, Best of 5 - 200/50
      • CMHV7, Best of 7 - 250/50
      • CMHV9, Best of 9 - 300/50
  • 1v1 or 1v1v1 Grip Gambler (GG, Touge & Wangan)
    • Standing start race where two rivals will line up side by side and launch the race with a countdown.
    • The player who crosses the finish line first wins.
    • A countdown "Ghost" is prefered in this mode.
    • In most cases, a timed countdown is used using the Total Time in-game.
      • GG, First to FINISH point-to-point, or 1-Lap Circuit Battle - 150/50
      • GG2, 2-Lap Battle - 200/50
      • GG3, 3-Lap Battle - 300/40
      • GGU, U-Turn Battle - 200/50
      • GGG, 3-way 1-lap battle - 200/100/50
      • GGG2, 3-way 2-lap battle - 300/150/50
      • GGG3, 3-way 3-lap battle - 400/200/50
  • Time Attack: Events will run for a set period when available, usually week-long running time.
    • 1st Place - 300pts
    • 2nd place - 250pts
    • 3rd place - 200pts
    • 100 Reputation Points for Participating by submitting a time.
  • Tournament Brackets: Seeded Bracket Tournaments held regularly by the club administrators.
    • Reputation score for battles during RANKED tournament brackets hosted by the league will depend on the battle style chosen by the drivers or the tournament moderator.
    • UNRANKED tournaments and battles will have no standing on rankings or reputation points.
----------
CHALLENGE ETIQUETTE

When issuing a challenge to do battle:
  • The challenger chooses the Battle Style, conditions for victory and handicap, if any (e.g.: time gap, best of 'x' runs, number of laps for GG, etc.).
  • The driver being challenged chooses the venue.
  • The driver being challenged reserves the right to deny any challenges to battle
  • If you are a ranked driver, remember that you must defend your position on the Hotlist at least once per season in order to remain ranked.
  • The driver being challenged may counter a challenger's challenge; In which case the roles of 'challenger' and 'challenged' are switched.

Submitting Results

Tournament:

  • The host of the tournament will manage the event and submit the results.
  • After the event ends, the host of said event will share results in a post on this thread.
  • Furthermore, a link to the results will be added to the LotS Past History & Events post on this thread.
1v1:
  • Rivals may challenge each other to official battles at any given moment for reputation points and position on the Hotlist rankings.
  • Once the battle has finished, one of the rivals will have to post the results on this thread and/or our Discord server.
  • It's the responsibility of the other rival to check and confirm the results posted.
  • You can only battle the same rival in the same class category once per week.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

I guess I'm the first ever real poster here. Well, I hope we can do what we did back in pre-GT5. The Wangan tracks are great though.

Looks really cool ! Dont understand it quite yet but strange there is nothing posted ? Are all things happening on discord ?

Just picked up GTS, and been looking for a highway club. I’m definitely interested in joining this....how do I go about doing so?

Your best bet it to join us on Discord, since we rarely check up on this thread, and wanna be abouts dozen active users daily. About 50 members total.

There you can coordinate with the ktherbguys when you're online to meet up and do some runs.

Discord is where we organize everything. Unfortunately, GTP has become an afterthought to us but we still post here every once in a while.

How do we find your discord thingy...I still have to get the app, not quite sure how it all works.

How do we find your discord thingy...I still have to get the app, not quite sure how it all works.

If you check the first post on this thread, first page, top post, you'll seethe invitation link for our server.

The way it works is we host a server and set up different color-coded roles for members. Gold is server admins, green is council members (the guys who run the club), red is for club members, gray is for no role, dark red is members in danger of losing their membership.

Each server has multiple channels in it, we have ours divided by theme.

There's a section for all the channels containing our rules, code of conduct, in-game regulations, etc.

And a largerbsection for the different discussion channels. There s a channel for liveries, to discuss and share them. Tuning, if you need help or want to provide it. A mandatory s**tposting channel, an arguchannel to debate topics or just ask questions which would require some discussion.

Etc, etc, etc.

Touge and Wangan class regulations have been updated.

  • A: Monster - 550hp/NO MINIMIM WEIGHT SM tires
  • B: Legend - 350hp/2800lbs SH tires
  • C: Purist - 276hp/2500lbs CS tires
90% Power level minimum for all classes.
