F1 2011 - PS3 & Fanatec CSR - Quick Menu Not WorkingF1 2010-2016

I've just bought a Fanatec CSR wheel with the elite pedals. It is working great with GT5 on PS3 (thanks to some set-up help on GTPlanet) but am hitting a problem in F1 2011.

When I map controls (using either the G25 or Custom profile) all the buttons are recognised and mappable.

However, once I start the race, the quick menu options will not work, regardless of what I map them too.

By default they are mapped to the directional pad which works fine in all menus etc. In car the directional pad will not bring up the quick menu though. I've tried mapping the quick menu options to all the various buttons but whilst the buttons work fine for things like DRS, Kers, look Left/right, no button will ever work in bringing up the quick menu.

I'm using the wheel in PS3 mode (which emulates the Logitech G25). I tried PC mode but that didn't work at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't find this posted anywhere else.

I'm not experiencing this issue with my CSR. The quick menu works with the stick/pad in race, or more accurately in the practice session I just tried out.

The problem I'm getting, which I need to look around here, is that in PS3 mode I'm not getting a direct center. The wheel sits in game slightly to the left. **NOTE: If you press the bottom two red buttons it centers the wheel*FIXED**

Have you tried turning off the wheel and turning on again? I did that trying to reset the center, but all it did was default map my buttons...

I think I got the same bundle as you, the regular CSR, the elite pedals, and the CSR shifter set.

Did you try uninstalling the game and starting from scratch? I.e. installing it like new, downloading the patches and then firing it up.

Thanks both. The fact that you have it working suggest I'm doing something daft. Will have a few more gos and see if I can figure out what I'm doing.

Ok, got a chance to have another go. Bit of a noob moment as realised I was trying in race modes where the quick menu is locked down! Doh!

So, having done a proper race I am now sorted.
