BMW McLaren F1 GTR Review: Verdict: Too good or not good enough?

-Overview: This car is amazing. It's easy to use, it handles great, the oversteer is manageable, the understeer is manageable, everything about it is amazing. In fact, the only real bad thing about it is it's price, the low RPM (7000) and sometimes if you brake too hard and turn the back will kick out but like I said, for a racing car, actually even for a car, it's amazingly easy to control. Want to know something amazing about this car? It has 70 more horsepower than the Audi R18 and weighs only 50 kg more. And guess what, it's 200k cheaper too! Oh, and another thing, not only can you put a turbo on it, but you can do a stage 3 engine upgrade. Only way the R18 beats this car is it can have more downforce and it weighs a bit less. Seriously, this F1 GTR is possibly one of the best buys for your money in this game. It's amazing in every single way. BUT WAIT!! You can't race this against LMP's (Le Man's Prototypes) cause it's only better than one of the worst LMP's in the game. So that means you'll race it in those GT3 races. What does this mean? You're spending 1.8 million credits on a car that's almost as good as an LMP but you'll be racing it against GT3 Z4's, GT-R's, and SLS'. It's TOO good for it's class. In fact, it's really not even in a class. It's between classes. It's too good for one and not good enough for the other. However, if you do those tune ups i'm sure it can be a great competitor for LMP races. But only against stock LMP's. Don't go into a racing lobby with this thing maxed and expect to win any races against other tuned LMP's.

-Value: For what you get, it's a great buy. For what you'll be using it against, It's either too expensive or it must be tuned depending on what you'll race it against.

-Noted features: Remember this car is a standard car so it's not going to look as great as the other premium race cars. However if you can get past that and tune it up, you'll definitely have yourself a great race car that's cheap for the cars you should race it against in the single player campaign.

This car sorta has a class: it's the mixed Prototype and GT division of the 90's called GT1. The class isnt In GT6 and the cars available are all over the place in terms of performance.
Good review though 👍

Yeah, the GT1 class was amazing. I do these reviews compared to other cars in GT6. So it's not that in real life this doesn't have a class, just in GT6 there's nothing for it to equally compete against when it's stock. :D

Just a suggestion, why not just create a thread entitled Flamango247's Car Reviews, and then in your OP, create links to each individual review that you post in one thread?. I can pretty much guarantee a mod will come along and ask you to do that anyway because they don't want individual forums become inundated with individual threads that could easily be combined into one.

I'm kind of new here so I'm still getting used to this. There's an original thread that has all the reviews I've done in the first post, and those links will link you to one of these. Idk how to put a post in my op unless I've posted the review somewhere else. I would like to talk to a mod about this though. I think it would be great if I had my own category of reviews.

I'll give you the Cliffs Notes version.

1. Create a thread of your own entitled, "Flamango247's Car Reviews" or whatever you like.

2 Do up a first post to tell us what it is you want to do. The shorter it is, the more it will get read.

3. Post the thread and then go into your own thread and make a second and probably third post and just put "reserved" in it. That way it's saved just for you and no one can post in it.

From that point on, just make individual posts with each of your car reviews. You can post as many as you like. In the second post create a heading called "Links" and then make a list with links to each of the individual posts with car reviews in them. You can make a link going to the post with the car review and at the top right you'll see "#" followed by the post number. 3, 4, 5 whatever the post number is.

Left click on that and the copy the second link to your clipboard and then go to post #2 and hit edit and paste the link there. After you paste it change the information in the pasted link between the ] and [ brackets to reflect you car review like this:

BMW F1 GTR Review

If you have any questions you can PM me or post them here and there are lots of people who'll be happy to help you get this set up.

Hmm, alright, I'll try to see if I can't set it up tomorrow. I'm not the brightest guy in the world so please excuse me if I'll have some difficulty with it lol. And if you have any cars you want me to review, click the link that's in the review and post it there.

ok, now do when I do that post thing it takes me to where the post is in the thread. Is there a way to link a post in a way that it will just show the post and people can reply to that instead of having to create a new thread? Basically what I'm asking is, is there a way to copy a post, link it, and when you press the link it'll take you to the post but it will just show the linked post?
