F1 in Shanghai

Just wondering if anyone out there has any info on the circuit, when it will be completed, and when the race is scheduled. I might get to see my first F1 race pretty soon!!

Should be in 2004 or 2005's calander, can't remember which. There's a circuit map on the side of this year's Jordan

wow... is it me or dows that look like a long straightaway!? :-o

still looks like a circuite that needs high downforce and bit of a stop go stop go kind of track.

yeah besides the long straight it is just a stop start, short chute kind of track. looks like the only overtaking ooptunity would be into the turn on the extreme left and the one after the stadium

Looks like it could be a quite good track though. I predict they'll be down to 1.20's when they hit that place.

What's with the sudden increase in hairpin-following-hairpin design? How about more daring high-speed turns?

I'm bored already, it's just another antiseptic circuit to me.
