F1 live seasonal event?

It's just pure fantasy but imagine the day we could run an F1 track simultaneously with the real thing, same car, same track...a bit like the Coulthard event.
Would be cool! What do you guys think?

That would be a cool event, the only problem is convincing Ferrari (the only real life F1 car makers in-game) to let someone drive their F1 cars around a track.

Other then that, it's a good, and interesting, idea.

Couldn't it be done by just timing a "room" to start at the same time as an F1 event on the same track? Or have we run out of tracks this year?

That's not that difficult to arrange, they often have events with their older F1 cars through the Corse Clienti group.

In fact, they sent a bunch of old Ferrari F1 cars, including the F2007, to the Red Bull Ring (formerly A1-Ring) just this week.

I'd just be happy to see a Ferrari race suit offered as a prize, let alone a live race!

I doesn't have to be like that. I could just be like, for example, do the Monza track simultaneously. It would have to be in the hiperexpensive F2007 or in the other F1. But it would be amazing to compare out time with that of the likes of Vettel and Alonso.
We would need to have the new Ferrari!

It would be exactly like that! Man that would be an awesome thing to do. Like the Couthard thing but without cutting corners!

Do it the same time as qualifying. With a worldwide leaderboard. So you can still enjoy the f1 race,, maybe.

Because Codemasters hold the rights, and if Red Bull were in then it could be claimed to be a "Grand Prix" as other teams (IE Ferrari) are in it. Hence why Ferrari F1 are only playable against each other.

Anyway, there should be more F1 events. The F2007 is the most amazing car on the game, even better than the X2010. RB is awesome but doesn't exist. And it is too fast
