What car?

You'd still have the total time clock which should be the same for everyone.

Then you have the oportunity for people to jump the start, plus the mess of trying to organize the grid for no real good reason.

I agree I was just saying.

Qualifying directly before the race is the best way to do it IMO.

I agree because I'm trying to keep it as close to F1 as i can so therefore there will be free run, qualification and standing start!

going by the disapointing results on the poll it looks like we will be using the F10

so if anyone's stuck for one ask me and ill send one over

All seems good so far. Looking forward to giving the f10 a good blast.

Beware of this guy. He will turn around and race backwards. He did it on my race last night I saved the replay 8 laps into a 25 lap super gt race, this guy decides to turn around and hit everyone and do doughnuts. He waited in the turns on trial mountain and on the other side of the hill in the straight in the lane. He took out my lead and made me quit to have to report him and kick him from my game and friends list.

FYI I saved the replay and will let anyone see it if they want before he ruins your race

I tihnk I might be interested. I've had an F10 for a long time sitting around, barely used...

AND... where else could you use it... dont look at other f1 threads!!

Both should be allowed. I was in a race at Le Mans and the F2007 and F10's were pretty evenly matched. Besides, F1 isn't a 1-make formula.

I thought this myself until I started testing them, then I saw that the F2007 is about 2 seconds faster then the F10 so to make it fairer I decided it would be one or the other!

But then again that's my driving...

2 seconds faster? The F2007 is just easier to drive. It's less twitchy and less oversteery, so easier to push with to a faster time. I've crashed the F10 MUCH more often than the F2007  Around Monaco, the first time I ever got the F10, I did a 1:12.2, the day after, I got a F2007, did a 1:11.9. The F10 run, I crashed a lot, and had to take it easy around some places, where as in the F2007, it was a bit more comfortable.

It's not like the F10 is 6 seconds a lap quicker... Anyway, news on races?

Suppose... :indiff: but my decision is final!
only whats been put up in thread...
also i personally will not be available for any races on the 25th/26th (weekend before season starts) so if someone wants to host them they can And ill post details in thread.

If you're looking for the scale of the races compared to the other ones.
Fuji lasted 67 laps in real life.
Nurburgring gp/f lasts 60 laps
And Indy lasted 73 laps.
So I'd say a good length race for them would be
25 at the ring, 28 at Fuji and 33 at Indy. Laguna should probably be a bit longer because it's a short track.
Also nordschleife should probably be shorter but I'm not complaining about that.

Ahh... I don't know what I'm gonna do with them yet...
Probably exactly what you said but I dunno yet...

Oh GTP_Racing(a bit suspicious don't you think) has built a reputation for crashing. He's done it in the supergt here and in the Le Mans series here. On purpose. Don't let him race with us.

ahh... I've heard alot about him... but I might give him a chance...

Anyway... does anyone want to host on the 26th or 27th its either that or no race that weekend...

EDIT: It's only pre-season and the real series starts on the 4th OR 5th of March

Damn... I only got F2007... unless someone is generous enough to send me one...

I have it easy to send but gotta full trading schedeule just about got akmuq in

I'd love to be in this but I dont have an F1. If you have another season later in the year I'd be in for sure!
