Welcome to the pre-season testing of the F1 series 2006!

Many drivers have been looking forward to getting the testing underway and now we finally can.

Testing will take place at 2 circuits, the first circuit is Apricot Hill, we will use this circuit for 7 days, testing here ends on the 15th of February at midnight in your territory. From the 15th to the 22nd of February, testing will take place at Tsukuba.

At the end of each weeks testing you will submit your fastest time via PM to myself, only submit once, here is how you should send me your time:

Driver:
Team:
Time:
Laps run:

Dont worry about spinning or running dirty laps, as long as your lap you send me is clean then its all part of the testing.

You may run as many laps as you like until the deadline so no holding back:D

The first testing venue is of course Apricot Hill (normal) and of course it is in GT Mode. So hit the track, you may discuss T times but not lap times, you may share set ups if you wish and also share driving tips if you wish:)

Enjoy the testing!

Sweet, I'll get onto it in a bit then. :D

I wish my team had a 3rd driver, get all the more set ups and stuff...

I'll have the leaderboard ready to go in about 12 Hours guys, get those T-Times times in!

My team doesn't even have a 2nd driver. That's the price you pay for privateering.

First Pictures from testing are in!

(Arrows F1 havn't painted our sponsors on yet, thus, plain carbon fibre  )

So far Arrows F1 are leading the way on the time sheets. Only because no one else has left the pits

I'll have the leaderboard done in a few hours, it would help me a great deal if you could put your Teamname with your split times, It will just save me a hunk of time.

Casio - Arrows F1
T1 - 9.742 (Best 9.5x)
T2 - 20.686
T3 - 40.858

Maybe another....2-3 seconds to come off for me hopefully.

Edit: Leaderboard up

Im getting big air on the curbs:dopey:

Ashley - Williams F1
T1: 9.862
T2: 21.594
T3: 43.135

Well, you won't be getting any from me, I suck at setups.

Here are my T-times like i promised

Update
Driver: appie17
Team: Minardi F1 Team

T1- 0'08,987
T2- 0'19,416
T3- 0'39,909

Bee - Davidson F1

T1: 9.681
T2: 20.410
T3: 40.928

I ran pretty ride in one of the corners between T2 and T3, I think I could improve yet by a couple of tenths..
👍

Where am i losing so much goddam time! 1 tenth down on Bee at T1, 3 seconds down at T3!

:(

How do I get a 40 T3? Well now that would be telling, but Casio has too incase you have not noticed. ;)

A 40 second T3 is not to difficult to get once you've got your lines worked out. And learnt how the car behaves. I stopped once I got under a certain mark *cough*, but more is possible easily I believe. I'm gunning for a low-37 T3.

@Appie17 - Great T1 Mate 👍, actually great lap totally 👍

Did some more laps. You must have some killer set-up going for that T1 appie, I can't get anywhere near that.

T1 - 9.393
T2 - 19.718
T3 - 40.033

My initital prediction of low 37 T3 might have been a tad optimistic, maybe high 38.

Casio, mate, can you update the leaderboard please? 👍

I'll try to do some laps this weekend. I gotta do this week's WRS, this and still find some time to play TT. And my friends will probably come over to play PES5. Argh!

For real Felipe?! Maaaan.... You best turn up for the races.

Don't worry, it's just this week has been a bit busy for me. I was planning on playing some last night but my new HDD came and I stood on the computer setting it up until midnight. Maybe tonight.

Ok cool 👍, it's just I've had a past of being team mates with people who didn't race. :grumpy:.

@ Casio

the first: try to take a little bit wide line and brake at the half of the corner
so the car comes clean
i used to had some problems because had snap oversteering so i had to a little
bit tweaking and did fine
