NEWSFLASH!!! Nismo F1 Racing have changed their launch date to today! The car is ready and will be launched in the Sign-Up thread momentarily!

Hey guys, here are my times at the moment

T1 - 9.150
T2 - 19.849
T3 - 39.762

Struggling to find a good setup, but getting there.

Can someone tell me how to unlock tracks? Apricot Hill specially.

I have no idea at what point you get Apricot Hill FatAssBR, might be easier if you go win the F1 car on your 43% save, just get a fast car and get B-Spec to do the Nurburgring 24hour endurance race for you on accelerated time.

From what I understand, tracks are unlocked based on gameplay days. Just go waste days watching race previews, buying wheels, or whatever.

Apricot Hill Test: Day 2

Date: 13 February 2006
Track: Apricot Hill Raceway
Track Length: 3.861km

Team Castrol Haswell racing continued this weeks testing at Apricot Hill, working on long distance running. The team were able to complete over 250km of running before a cooling problem put an end to their day.

The team are expected to continue testing tomorrow, where Radicool02 is expected to join the test.

Blake Haswell – Haswell Racing
Best T times:
T1: 09.731
T2: 20.586
T3: 40.651
Total laps: 66 laps
Total Distance: 254.826km

“Testing went well today. We were able to cover a lot of miles and we really got our chassis settled over the longer runs. I can’t wait until tomorrow, when we’ll be working on getting the most out of the car over 1 lap.”

Cool, I'll try that. I want to race Nurburgring's endurance myself (well, part of it at least).

Ashley.
Testing will take place at 2 circuits, the first circuit is Apricot Hill, we will use this circuit for 7 days, testing here ends on the 15th of February at midnight in your territory. From the 15th to the 22nd of February, testing will take place at Tsukuba.

Just read this again. By midnight on the 15th of Febuary, do you mean just after 11:59pm on the 14th or the 15th?

Also, I don't think it's quite fair to do for your territory. For example, for me 11:59pm on the 14th in about 9 hours, while people on the US west coast almost have a whole extra day. It's not like you can post the next race for each time-zone either, so in effect if you're closer to the left of the date line, you get a smaller time window to get your time in.

They are on :)

Although for next time. Could you please put your team with your spilts? Thanks. 👍

On a side note, I'm kicking myself as a threw away a 18.82x T2...

They appear fine for me. Try clearing your temp files in your browser?

You should appear 5th.

Ok it works now, cool, by the way, I made a mistake in my previous post by accidently putting my old times in, I have now edited the post to show my new times lol.

Daimler-Chrysler F1 hit the track again today and managed to improve on their previous times, however we dont know if they'll make it up the leaderboard from their 6th position. We were told though that the car was handling very nicely, but it could be improved upon, at least they think it can be improved upon. Daimler-Chrysler F1 may squeak out one more test session before Tsukuba, but they may just pack up early and begin the long journey there.

Davidson Makes No Improvement On Time.

Davidson F1 had another practice session today at Apricot Hill with Lee Davidson at the wheel. They have been reported to have been testing out new settings but have failed to make any advance in time.

This was the last test at Apricot Hill for the team before they move onto Tsukuba - Japan for the final week of testing before the season gets under away.

:scared:  Whew the first round of testing and setup are done. Time submitted.

9.217
20.197
40.793

ran about 40/50 laps total over several days and found a good start on the setups and driving of the F1. Nice having a fast car that sticks to the road and is quick in the corners.

On to the second round at one of my fav. tracks, short and very fast lap times in the F1 .

 Well, the Team owner has its own plane so we hopped on it for a long flight (thankfully-SLEEP :dopey: ) to the far east. Arrived there at about dawn i guess. Went to the track and guess what, they were having an enduro that day (9 hours:sick: ) . Well the owner comes running back from the registration office saing that we have a chance of doing a exibition run with an F1 car (me driving :scared: ) as for never seing the track before you could say i was nervous. Well went out did the exibition and here are the times from it. :sly:

10.114
22.825

Man this is a tough little track, BRAKES is a big issue here as there is lots of HARD breaking in the short sections. Will have to be addressed in the future testing and RACING of this track or any other tight smaller track.

Well, The track people said the track would be open for LATE afternoon (short) practice if we wanted to be here just after the race or they would close. The owner opted to sit out and rest for the next day where the track would be open all day ( ) but at least we will get to see the town a little bit today :sly: .

Leaderboard Updated. Probably for the final time unless a lot of last-minute sector times come in.

Personal note, when was the deadline Ashley? By midnight on the 15th, did you mean 1 minute after 11:59pm on the 14th or 15th? When will the results be up?

Daimler-Chrysler F1 arrived in Tsukuba around 10:00 am this morning. No sooner did the team arrive then the car was being preped for some early test runs. Although we heard reports of Crazy300ZXGuy being tired from the intensive testing at Apricot Hill, he still made quite a few hot laps, all within an hours time. However Daimler-Chrysler F1 did have some troubles with the brakes. The DC10F1 nearly flew off into a barrier after the front stretch, shortly after the team ended testing for the day. The following are the best T1 and T2 times but on by Daimler-Chrysler today.

Team F1 Racing hit the Tsukaba track today, no serious tesing was done today, the driver was just getting a feel for the track and preparing himself for the following day where testing should be flat out. Driver East completed
6 laps today, his times were

Nismo F1 Racing
T1 - 9.924
T2 - 22.817

He now looks forward to tomorow where he will be concentrating primarily on finding a good setup for the short yet challenging Tsukaba circuit.

I was gonna say il do the results at the end of Tsukuba but then thought your gonna need the leaderboard, so figuring that you have added up the sector times on the leaderboard i spose it would be ok to use that as a final leaderboard for the testing? I dont have the resources to make a decent enough leaderboard so if tit is ok by you to use your one.

Are you saying that you'll send me the times and I'll put up a final leaderboard? If so, that's cool. But wouldn't it be easier to just post them in a new thread?

If the deadline of Apricot has passed, personally, I don't see the point of waiting around with the results for a week. I'm sure everyone is really anxious to see the results.

Later on, I'll set-up the page so you can navigate between the different races when we get up to them. I'll have Tsukuba up sometime tonight.

Just use Excel and take a screenshot…
That's exactly what I'm doing 👍

Ok, il give the excel thing a go:D

Mind, i suck at it so:lol:

Edit: Ummm ok so i dont actually have excel:D

If you'd like to PM them to me, I'll gladly knock you up a table.

On another note: This weeks leaderboard is up 👍 added my best splits from my first 5 or so laps. I think maybe 2 seconds can come off?

I'll try to make another layout with frames and stuff so it's easier to navigate later on. I'm really not that flash at web design, HTML and computers in general. Despite the fact I am almost finished to my CCNA certification. It's quite sad really
