i would say policing the world is a bit of an overstatement. wanting a clean fair race is all i want. why can't people just race by the rules? the last driver i contacted replyed with "if you can't handle my perfection, then don't race" his idea of perfection was cutting every corner and taking you out every chance he got. not my idea of a fun race. it just seems to me that every race i go into there are 80% punters and 19% noobs and 1% that can actually drive. i did however race a guy yesterday that was clean and didn't cut the bus stop. so thats like 1 in a million.

I always drive clean through the chican and i'm faster then 90 % of those who cut it.
But all of them are losing a couple of seconds on the rest of the lap so it doesn't matter if they win 0,1 sec there. :sly:

Love this event. Same for me everyone cuts the chicane but, me. I love catching them up for the rest of the track. Have had a few good races here too.

Same problems different event. Nothing will sort this until private rooms are available.

If youre a good driver you can blast through the bus stop at incredible speeds.... no point in cutting it... just have to find the right line :)

Yes but, not flat out. So you will always gain an advantage by cutting it.

If you arde skilled enough yo can have a clean pass at about 260kmh or maybe more and those cheaters mostly are not skilled that much and they can only make a 0.3 - 0.4 sec of advantage. So you can get your position back during the race. But the problem is that if they do it on the last lap and succeed they will have a chance to win the race.

its so easy to blast through the chican in 6 flat out 185mph and still stay clean no need to slow down no need to cut

Will have to practice that one a bit more. Anybody got a good tune for this event? please

Likely cause all the wheel shudder & shake fromF2007 on Daytona Oval section.

Exactly. I think that there is a bug about the FF programming on that track. There is an endless vibration on the wheel on some sections. That might be the cause of the problem. After racing for 3 hours, i had to wait for 45min to let it cooldown.

Isn't that shaking only real surface simulation? Such as little waves not observable but present on the pavement. I noticed some dilatation joints there in the pavement on the flat inner side of oval.

Bytheway i just noticed that my wheel gets overheated if i race so many times on that track. ??

yup, mine does it also. o don't usually play that long to have ot wait for it to cool down but i sure can smell it. thats when i know its time to call it quits for the night.

If it only happens when driving the F1 just turn the FF down a bit. I turned it down to 2 as it was just irritating otherwise.

Does anyone knows if FF gives vibration according to lateral g's or atalet forces? I will lover the FF and try this morning.

is that the 4 wheels on the car or the wheel that you use to drive the car ???? and if that the wheels on the car do tell where is the tyreware symble on the dash ???

Out of everything to come from latest update the best by far is the F2007 Daytona Road Event. This is a much better match than the Suzuka event which felt "unreal" just a herk & jerk hang on for life ride. Seems theres more driver control of the F2007 than before, lets talk about the good & bad of what I hope will be a much more popular event.

I'll be racing there at the quarter hrs...00/15/30/45

I love this event, but lately there hasn't been a lot of people racing in this event. I think this would be a brilliant event if there was much more competition.
P.S. I don't cut the chicane on the back straight.
