I noticed that there isn't a thread for cars that you used to beat S-Class races to unlock the F2007. Which is weird because you can find someone talking about their issues with S-7 and S-10 in most threads. So here it is. For everyone who still needs to clear S-Class and spends too much time racing online a thread with the cars and tunes people used to take down the S-Class Events and get your very own F2007.

Hi, great thread. Did you have the settings you suggest for S6-10 races? I have to complete S10 and the Ford GT and F40 races and I'll be in F2007-land! I used a GT-R to get past S7 and now it's onto S10.

sorry i have been running tunes with 888. feel free to post your tunes here the more we can help people with the events the more good drives we can get online. i will go back to the events soon but there is a few more cars i want to work on.

Hi

Thanks for the tuning tips.

I'm new and still getting the hand of things. I have managed to pass S1 and S2. Now for the S3, S4 and S5 this weekend

Thanks to all the contributors who posted guides and tips. I spend lots of time reading them. They are of great help.

Please assist with setups for S6 - 10.

Thanks

Forgive my ignorance above.

Great tuning I managed to do S4 which was starting to be a nightmare, in one race I got hit with 4 penalties all at once and none of them my fault, lol.

Anyway managed 2nd in the Skyline. Do you think doing S2 in the Skyline is OK? Would the setup be any different from S2? I only ask as I quite like it.

did the s2 in the Skyline eventually do you think the Skyline is a good bet for S5 or you think a better choice is to be made?

Yeah I think the Skyline has a lot of potential. I have not run those races yet so let me know how you do. When I do get to them later this week I will post any new tunes that worked for me.

I just finished winning all the non-spec-car events with the NSX. I originally did them in the F430 and the Mine's Skyline (for pp700).
When I started out, I honestly didn't believe the NSX would win 700pt. races, but it does (with a little aggression).
The setup is simple:
RH -30/-30
SR 5/10
Dmpr 5/10
Toe 0/0
Cmbr 0/0
BB 10/10
MTA 40
TCS Off
ABS 1

2.622
1.744
1.335
1.060
.890
.760 (I forgot how much, but lengthen for Fuji.)
4.400 (Change to 5.000 for Fuji and Suzuka.)

It'll make 630pt.(387HP), but it's maxed at 656pt.(447HP).

I used a pad and standard physics. I have a wheel, but the pad is much more convenient.
Thanks, ofspunk 7. It's a fun car.

Yeah this car really rocks. I have to say I am 100% impressed with what I was able to do with it. I will check out your changes and give it a run. Glad I could help.

ofspunk7 you are the man! I repeat you are the man haha tnx for this man! I tried S-1 100+ types, and the first time I tried it with your settings I made it. I hope you will post the remaining S-Class events.
Cheers

Good to hear:tup:

I am planning on putting in a ton of hours on the track tonight - monday. I have a tune that i want to finish... it will be a great online ride. I will post it with 888 Tuning once I have him take it around the track.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=106005

I do have a few tunes I want to catch up on in our garage but I will try to post a few new S-Class races as well.

EDIT: I will switch between the garage and S-Class so I can try to pump out as many cars as I can. I also hope others that have won these races will continue to add to this thread.... thank you those that have!

I tried out the NSX setup you have for S1 and it just wasn't fast enough for some reason. Do you have any other recommendations for cars to use?

Well maybe not? That's odd I used this setup and I can't even get close to even placing third. Seems way to slow for S1.

I don't know what to tell you man. Once I had the car set up I took the race pretty easy. It might be how you are driving. Remember it is all about taking the turns right and passing when you have the option. I know the car isn't the issue because I used it and it sounds like some others have as well.

Hi ofspunk7!! Thanks much for starting this thread! It seems everyone else has forgotten the S races and concentrated on online play. Anyway, I finally decided to take a crack at S-6 and man, I probably spent a good 2 hours trying to figure that out. The best I've ever gotten is 10th place. Could you please help me out with settings for the F40? Thank you so much.

Happy to help. Post what you have set for the car and I will give it some laps and find out what I would do.

Got 3rd (with a penality) rather easily with this setup

Here is what I used...

Power - 464 (-2)
Weight - 1311 (97)

Height: -12 -12
Spring: 8 8
Damper: 7 7
Toe: -0.18 +0.18
Camber: 0.8 0.8
Brake: 7 6
Turn: 50
Trac: 1
ABS: 2

Final: 3.700

S-10 Ford GT40 LM

Got 3rd by the 2nd lap - could not catch the two S2000s for the life of me
I changed steering stability to strong and it made a huge difference

Here is what I used...

Power: 415 (-32)
Weight: 1001 (86)
Aero: 12 33

Height: -13 -13
Spring: 7 7
Damper: 6 6
Toe: -0.10 +0.35
Camber: 3.3 5.6
Brake: 8 10
Turn: 40
Trac: 1
ABS: 2

1st: 2.610
2nd: 1.710
3rd: 1.230
4th: 0.940
5th: 0.770
6th: 0.630
Final: 4.417

The GT40 is an agressive car to drive so you really need to push it throught the corners

Let me know if this helped 👍

thanks for the posts. I was trying to get something done for some more races last night but found the new SRT/10 for the tuner challenge sitting in my PM box.... So I am sorry all S-Class fans but my time was consumed with running the unreleased SRT/10 888 Tune online for the few hours I had. I think the 888 Team really worked some magic here.

I'm having real trouble knowing which car to use for PP700... I was using a TLD tune on the R35 GT-R. Then I tried my R34 GTR, however that hasn't worked either. Any suggestions?

I got through all the PP 680 races in the Mine's R34 GTR just by juggling the weight and power for anyone who is struggling with those.

Well, I figured why I hadn't been winning the NSX races, and that was because I was using the Acura one. Once I bought the correct one, I changed the given tune slightly (for PP630) as follows:

Power: +37
Weight: 92%

I've just got the Fuji PP700 race to go, so I'll try out the GT40 tune now.

Thanks

EDIT: Completed it :) Came a comfortable third in the GT40. Would have done it first time, had I not spun out on very last corner thanks to some eager throttle.

I had just used the above GT40 setup for the S-7 race, and I was struggling big time before. Now I came in second no problem. Thanks for the setup
