F40 tune please!

I actually thought it was well balanced with some understeer if you go in too hot. Maybe just needs the lsd turned down a bit and should be great. Already grippy with Sport softs.
 
Too slidey with stock tires (no tc/asm), I found it better balanced with F:Racing Intermediate and R:Racing Hard. I tried RH also for front, but that beauty was too grippy for my taste. Otherwise stock power, suspension and gears at the moment, but its much fun to drive.

I was driving it earlier on sports soft and the trick with the F40 is keeping it in the boost range. If you're dipping in and out of boost @ 5000rpm, the back will snap on you really easily. You need a really smooth throttle control to get the most out of it and just be aware of it biting once the turbos kick in.

The patches feels like it has changed the level of grip again, so it can make things even harder to master with the F40.
 
Hi!. I want to contribute in here with some of my F40 tunes. I have done some testing tuning lately, some also had some experimenting included:).
I haven't been active since I uploaded my latest GT6 replica tune in my Replica Garage in the GT6 Tuning Thread.
(Please note:), my tunes are done after the 1:10 update, and is in Metric stats!.
I'm using DS4, MT, all aids off, except default ABS. Controller sensitivity at +2.

Ferrari F40 '92 with real life data.

(This tune is using Comfort: Soft tyres), but it works with Sports tyres.

Max. Power BHP 471, as in real life
Max. Torque kgfm 58.8, as in real life
Weight kg. 1.287, as in real life

Quick Tune.
Power Level 1 - Power Ratio %100
Weight reduction Level 5 - Ratio %117

Traction Control 0
Tyres - Comfort: Soft
Brake Balance (Front/Rear) -2, or use your preferred bb.

Suspension - OEM based with real world specs.
Front, rear

Ride Height mm 85 / 85
Natural Frequency Hz 2.12 / 1.89
Anti-Roll Bar Level 4 / 4
Damping Ratio (Compression) % 57 57
Damping Ratio (Rebound) % 87 86
Camber Angle (-) Degree(s) 0.5 1.8
Toe Angle Degree(s) In 0.33 In 0.33

Drivetrain
Transmission - Corrected Gear ratios and Final Gear according to factory stats.
Fully Customised Transmission.

Set Final Gear to 2000
Set Max. Speed (Auto Set) km/h to 420
Then set each gear ratios
1st. 3.692 / 97
2nd. 2.296 / 156
3rd. 1.636 / 210
4th. 1.284 / 279
5th. 1.022 / 360

Then set Final Gear at 2.727. This works great at Suzuka.
Only change Final Gear to suit different tracks!, leave everything else.

Ride Height mm 101 / 101, or use stock default height. Try both and see what you prefer.

Anti-Roll Bar Level 4 / 4
Damping (Compressiono) % 57 / 56
Damping Ratio (Rebound) % 87 / 85
Camber Angle (-) Degree(s) 0.5 1.8

Side note: If you want to take out some of the Anti-Roll, try 8 / 6

Drivetrain - LSD 2.5 way with Ferrari E-Diff used.
Differential Gear - Fully Customised Mechanical LSD

LSD Initial Torque Level 30
LSD Acceleration Sensitivity Level 36
LSD Braking Sensitivity Level 36

For more loose feel, try LSD Torque Level 27, or 20

Transmission - Corrected Gear ratios and Final Gear using higher Final ratio 3.630 but with same gear speed.

Transmission - Fully Customised Transmission.
Leave Final at 3.630
Set Max. Speed (Auto Set) km/h to 380
Then set each gear ratios
1st. 2.769 / 97
2nd. 1.722 / 156
3rd. 1.227 / 219
4th. 0.963 / 280
5th. 0.767 / 360
