Well I'm part way through now and I'd say it feels like the PITT meets resident evil. You've got a dingy industrial feeling with the smog and some real creepy stuff going on here and there.

Also Im playing hardcore on it and doing just fine on Dead money, people keep making a big deal out of its difficulty.

even though the first time I started the game back up since getting gt5 it froze almost instantly I have not yet experienced any bugs in dead money itself

Finished up dead money last night, bug free. Get back to the Mojave and it freezes twice and Rex is nowhere to be found... :ouch:

Anyone else had a problem with Rex disappearing post DM? The wikia vault mentions it but only for 360 and no details...

haha! I was talking to the king to see if the dialogue for rex dying was available and I heard distant barking... HE WAS UPSTAIRS!!!

I have never been to any Casinos in real life and never played any in any game. But recently I purchased Test Drive Unlimited 2 and it had a Casino. When that Casino works its a lot of fun. But currently its loaded with issues and hardly works.

With that said I finally decided to try the Casinos in NV. After all it has a title with Vegas in it so it must have amazing Casinos right? I guess not. I went from Casino to Casino trying to find fun things to play and all I could find was a Blackjack table and Roulette along with 1 slot machine. Is that really it??? No poker, no variety in other slot machines??

I believe the developer stated poker was a bit to complex to implement in the time/space they had to work with.

I completed this game very quickly, but I didn't want to play it again because I didn't like the story as much.

I liked some of the side quests though, such as the one where you blast the ghouls away into space.

Has there been any DLC out for this game? If so, I may consider playing it again.

The first DLC was ok. I'm eagerly awaiting the next DLC which should be interesting.

I'm playing through the game for I think the 8th or 9th time now.

Hey guys - despite buying this game on launch day (and subsequently having it and all my progress robbed)... I've just started getting back into this...

One thing I can't quite workout - what does "breakdown X" give you?

C.

Breaking down ammo? It will give you cases, lead and primer. These can be used to load a different type of ammo if you have the recipe. The exchange rate is NOT 1:1 though so don't break down something unless you have to.

Another note, lead is said to be weightless in game but this is not true.

The lead you get when you break down ammo. In game it shows that it weighs 0.0 but it really weighs close to 0.0014. This means if you have lets say 10,000 lead you will have about 14 extra weight added to your inventory.

This might sound trivial however it is very easy to obtain large amounts of lead especially if you have taken the hand loader perk. One unit of scrap metal alone will yield 200 lead.

Not sure if you guys new this already but I just came across this the other day. You can use the laser RCW recycler on the recharger pistol. It works the same as it does on the RCW replenishing every 4 shot. This means the recharger pistol essentially gets 5 extra shots before you have to wait for it to recharge.

This is a nice little tip for those of you who might be playing on hardcore or just have a thing or energy weapons like I do.

Just thought i would throw this out there, there should be a mad max game or fallout should just get inspired by mad max with having cars. I only played fallout 3 for a bit but noticed you cant drive, i think. I was playing gt5 today with the trans cammer in toscana and mad max popped in my head. I thought fallout should include some badass cars to drive

There used to be cars. They were left over from pre-war times. Over 200 years into the future there aren't many left.

Fuel kind of had that premise as a game, I didn't think it was executed very well personally, but it's the closest thing I can think of for you.

Liked Fallout New Vegas a lot more than Fallout 3. Fallout 3 was overrated and the game was nowhere near as good as people say it is. The ending for number 3 was a joke too. Although, i did have some fun exploring around the wasteland in 3, New Vegas does pretty much everything better than it's predecessor. Aside from being even more buggy than number 3.

Been playing a fair bit of New Vegas this weekend - thoroughly enjoying the storyline as I go along - a bit more interesting thatn FO3 I think.

I'm now at Level 20 - and haven't been to the Strip once yet!!

I played almost all of yesterday bug free until the last hour - then it died 3 times - once when I wasn't even doing anything - the Radio had come to the end of a song and was attempting to load another! (Makes me want to turn the radio off!)

Just took down the 3 Fiend Bounties - although it was pretty easy with my sniper rifle...

Not enjoying Cazadors in the wilderness though - they hurt!!

Am enjoying modifying weapons - my Laser Rifle is sweet (with a Scope, a Twin Beam and Focusser!)!!

There is supposed to be a press function in the utah mountains coming up soon. They are probably going to announce the release there.

All coming DLCs will be released at the same time on all systems so no xbox gets it first crap.
