Last thing then, is there a difference between stepping down 15nm (which I assume most people do anyway) and being limited to 8nm?
I think it was Barry (from sim racing garage) who said that a higher torque peek wheelbase would be "better" (motor designed for heavier loads, faster slew rates and other stuff) even when used with lower torque settings, but at the same time it would become "hyper realistic" where you feel more and faster feedback in your hands than in an actual car where you "feel with your butt" :D
I honestly don't think I'd need more than 8Nm cause I'm using a stand anyway
I have the 8nm gt dd pro with a simlab p1x and I would say that a good rigid rig is more important than the additional torque of the wheelbase, especially if you have a load cell brake pedal and a real (be it a bucket or normal) car seat.

I tried that and it said "game not found" so I guess I'll have to wait on an update.
I don't have PMR but I was able to add ACR manually as it didn't show up either, it did take a couple of goes to get it to work but eventually it appeared in the app. I had to use the .exe option to be able to launch the game from the app using the steam app id (3917090) just launched the OG assetto corsa for some reason

Is there any more information on the Podium pedals expected date of availability or price reveal other than Q1 26? I've ordered Simnet pedals, but since I found out they will only be available late December / early January I started wondering if I should rather cancel and wait to see what Fanatec has to offer.

I suppose we will have news about new Podium hardware prices before the year ends. . . . .

Ho Handbrake mentioned again :( it would be an insta buy for me right now!

Have to figure out if it makes sense to put together another podium hub / rally button box setup, or if it is better to buy the Monte Carlo again, sell the R380 on Ebay and buy a P310 open else where...

No further info.

I would guess Feb/March though.

I’m guessing the Podium pedals will start around $600 or more for a 2 pedal IF they want to continue to offer a Clubsport line of pedals as well to replace the V3 - those would have to sit in the $450 price range to make any sense pricing wise

If podiums are less then $ 600 then a CS set would end up so close in price to both the CSL elite and the new podiums as to not make much sense IMO

I bought the SimNets before the podiums were announced and have been very happy with them. Very well built. The brake options are excellent especially w the added spring kit

In looking at the podiums based on coverage so far my take is that:
  • looks - Podium is way cooler looking
  • brake options and feel maybe equal tbd
  • tool less features, podium but not massively
  • SW tuning, pretty equal but a separate app for simnet
  • clutch - podium looks better and how unique the bite point tbd
  • damping, simnet on all 3 pedals but tbd on podium if needed
  • overall adjustability, podium somewhat
  • haptics, simnet now has options podium tbd but looks likely either Fanatec or 3rd party

Just my take based on what I know so far

Thank you for the answers guys. Mainly interested in price - I can justify spending 500 euro for 2 pedal set, considering how nice Podiums are looking, but at 600 eur these would be roughly 60% more expensive than what I got 2 pedal set Simnets for, which makes it harder to justify. I guess anything is possible at this point, price guesses are anything between 500 and 1000 from what I've seen. Need to figure out if I want to keep my order and take the chance on if these are affordable or not. Worst case I could sell Simnets and upgrade if the price is reasonable.
