Anyone seen this one? Its not mine but its the best one i have seen yet for FC. Insane timing...

I know most of you don't like using the glitches but i have been messing around with this glitch for a bit and came up with this one. ( need to zoom it out for a better view)

And also had this one which i made to clear all the parts i used from the screen, of course you have to hit back after it completes the stage to watch it finish cleaning up.

Yes I have seen that one and I think it is incredible.

I like contraptions that make it roll around the whole bend.

That is neat, I like it.

Arg I can't beat the 51 secs no matter what!:grumpy:

But there is plenty to do and make new records.:sly:

Hehe. I cant beat 51 with your design but...I think we can beat it with a different design. I'm not entirely sure.

Yeah. I need to refresh my brain tonight and play some GT5P(and grab the new lotus) in the morning. It has been a while because of FC.

I'll pass on all the crazy stuff you guys have been coming up with.

But this is my favorite one yet. It was a product of boredom. I wasn't even trying to solve the problem when I played with the main engine of this contraption, the Pole Vault.

Thats cool.

Once youve played this for a while the ideas you get are incredible. Give it time.

I need to mess with golf and catapults to get past the Big Ball level. I'm so tired now though that my brain is working against me. I think it's time for a break...

But I did come up with this. I haven't seen anybody's video of Tube yet. Is it not popular? Difficult? I came up with Spiderman to solve it. It works with only two drive wheels along with as many as you can fit, but I think it looks best with four.

EDIT: Ahhhh, apparently water rods are lighter than wood rods. This is what I got when I replaced the pole in Pole Vault 2. It takes longer because of one extra revolution, but after that the pole extends almost all the way out. Much better than with a wood pole.

EDIT 2: And now I've sped it up quite a bit by making the pole shorter and lighter. Pole Vault 3 is much more efficient.

EDIT 3: Now, playing the role of a real-life engineer, I've chopped considerable time off the Pole Vault 4. But in doing so I've negated any operational efficiency I've gained with the added time, effort, and cost required to design and manufacture the more complex structure.

I have proved the theory. In trying to make things better, engineers have simply made everything else worse.

Pole Vault three is like a Lotus. Light, simple, but kinda slow in a straight line. Pole Vault 4 is like an AMG in that it's big, complicated, ugly and heavy, but powerful and fast. I'd rather have the Lotus, but The People demand more powah. Thus, the human race is getting stupider. That's the lesson for today. Also, I'm thinking of becoming a philosopher.

People don't talk about the tube much because the level is so limited and quite difficult.

As for all your pole vault designs. They get better and better.

Very nice pick-up on the human race.

It's quick. I'm not a fan of machines that waste of a part of themselves to complete a goal. That's impractical. It's not really a machine so much as a Rube Goldberg disassembly line. But I suppose sometimes you just have to fling something with a catapult in this game. Some of em are just plain hard.

Is it wrong that I'm disappointed that my contraption just ran a 2209260? :p

Keef, Big Ball has about four-five different solutions - and all but one are neat and elegant (the last is simple - brute force to lift the ball.

TB

Probably - you just wasted two days waiting. :p

I won't be re-challenging that record, though. Running the PC for four days was too tough on it...

Some of these levels require a lot of experimenting. I know Venari got this one a long time ago, but this is my go from scratch...it's not done yet lol.

FAIL

EDIT: And just when you feel like giving up, you add more wheels...viola! Not as clever as Venari's scoot, grab, 'n pull, but it works.

Did it. It's slow, but I like it. It stay in one piece and you could use it again.

I'm not a big fan of catapults, mainly because I can't seem to make one, so I came up with the Processor instead.

Catapults take a while to figure out - and the weakness of the balls usually requires several of them just to let a small thing fly, never mind the heavier parts.

How about a unpossible shoot out? Here is my old one.

394

Im going to start now. Basically that ramp needs to come out faster so i might try and redesign it.

Keef:That is the most simple and smooth design I have seen from that.
It is hard to get those reverse balls in the right spot.

EDIT: Ok wrcsti, I have just gotten a 362 with almost complete reconstruction of the way the ramp folds out. I am in the process of making it even faster :)

I modded somebody else's design so it would stay in one piece. They used to have a bunch of balls pushing it up, but I made a frame to pull it.

That design is interesting to say the least. Bit to blocky for my liking.

It sucks. I hate it. It's crap, but the one before it was crappier so I don't mind.

Here's my booyah to all the catapult people...the Clownface. From scratch, by me. Nice and simple, and stays in one piece. Not as stable as I'd like it. It's hard to balance all those wheels perfectly.

EDIT 2: Here, now it's a lot more stable. I just spread the eyes out a bit.

I've got it to 301. But it's spent the last two minutes saving it...

EDIT: Unpossible 301

EDIT 2: I used wrcsti's two-wheel design and made Unpossible 298.

EDIT 3: Unpossible 292, again with the old two-wheel design.

I've come to the conclusion the third wheel is redundant.
