I'm not too good at this game (I have more fun reading through this thread and watching all the contraptions than I do building them!), so I don't have anything novel to post. However, these I scanned through the first few pages of designs for some levels, looking for 5/5 ratings, and found these that impressed me, mostly for their novelty or value as comic relief! There are so many good ones hidden out there it would be impossible to post them all, so here's a good sampling. I hope you get a laugh out of some of these.

It's probably been said before, but every time I see this on the Strip's main page I misread it as "Fantastic Contraception!!!"
 
Alrighty, then!

Minimum pieces to build a bomb glitch is 4: the wheel and the 3 water rods.

I give you Handling, minimum bomb.

(Talk about a lucky shot!!!!)

Up the hump, similarly, but the wheel is entirely within the piece, it can't move it except by glitch force.

Yep, it works for me, too. Handling is very nice, wfooshee, but your Up the Hump just falls off to the left after a bit. mcsqueegy, that's very cool, even if it is "cheating."
 
It's not considered cheating when you move the ball before making a design ;).

Anyway, here's my 'La boucle de foi' -the loop of faith. Notice not only how the ball is caught, but how that random water rod at the start stays vertical!! :sly:

Hmm. Works on both my computers. Wanders back and forth, then a big bang at about 750 ticks that would send it off the screen, but it hits the green above the start and bounces to the right, spinning into the goal.
 
That's very cool. :lol: Yes, it worked on this computer, but on mine at home it just bounced around for a bit before skittering off the edge. Funny how that happens.
 
Yeah, I got that too while experimenting. Again, the small bugs in FC always show up in those extreme situations - high speed, lots of rods...

When i seen that you had posted something i thought, wow what a zombie revival, then i seen you posted there is a new version of some sort of FC so thanks for posting it!


EDIT: Ugh, after checking it out its just as i thought it would be seeing the "prius" in the title. Corporate sponsored bloated bull, but thanks for trying :)
 
I watched that thing for almost 10 mins and it never did make it, not a very good design either. Unless you were trying a harder way of doing it to make it more satisfying for you.
 
Ten minutes? Pah! How about 12,444 minutes!
