Yep. I encountered that problem for the first time when making a tracked vehicle.
It's the way the data is saved.
I would give a link to where it's explained on the forum, but apparently they're moving the forum to a new server.
 
Oh i envy you, I dont have a credit card yet. Couple of months to go yet untill i need one.

The level piece limit is something ti do with the physics engine of the game. At about 160 pieces you either lagg or go completely spazz.
 
OH HOLY POOP!!!!!! I want that ride at my local theme park. I love how it lands on Mars.
 
Does anybody but me DESPISE the stupid "Victory!" screen that pops up and blocks the view right at the most interesting point?
 
I right with you Duke. You've worked for the better part of an hour to get it just right and you don't even get to see it.

Do what I did. I watch it once and put my mouse over the back button, clicked, and remember where it was so when I hit start again I could put it back. Start it, put your mouse back where it goes, then just click a lot till "it" happens.

I would have to agree, i was watching around the window, until it decided to go behind the victory screen...
 
I agree about the annoying victory screen. I would like to have a slow motion button too.
 
Yeah, we know that but the exact moment that damn window comes up the contraption slings around. Bit annoying...
 
Odd thing about it is if you remove a blue piece of it and put it back exactly how it was before it doesn't work... It falls short or explodes into a mess.
 
Ive noticed that to. In other peoples contraptions that use a unicycle or something. If I leave the wheels in the same place and delete and remake the rod, it just...fails.

I am confused here and I honestly do not know what you, and others appear to be viewing when you click on the links. Are you referring to the contraption that G.T linked to in Post 340: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=123457 ?

I don't see a "Victory!" screen when I launch that contraption. As a matter of fact, I have never seen a "Victory!" screen, and I have created some, and seen many contraptions. What am I missing here?

After reading some of the recent posts, I assumed that that is what others are seeing, but as I stated, I have never seen that screen. I have just now tried this in both IE7 and Firefox 3, and I do not see this screen at all. I have messed around with the Advanced Settings in my Internet Options, and this may be the problem, or based on complaints....maybe it is a good thing?
