This is a massive flaw I think! It seems so strange to include a great photo mode and all the telemetry only to say "ooh you missed that flame, well nevermind, just watch the whole replay again from the start". FAIL

I spent an hour trying to pause right when I get a flame out the back of my F430 Scuderia
Never managed it...
Haha, just save the replay and hope that PD will hear our prayers
I also think that we really need those options and I believe that we will get them somewhere in the future since it shouldn't be too hard to implement them.

It shouldn't be hard to implement + 5 year dev time = what the heck have PD been doing?

plus it's ten times more rewarding if you actually managed to capture such a flame now.

No Rewind during play/race...
but Definitely Rewind feature during Replay, as well as Fast Forward and Skipping by Lap!
Kaz!! Please!! this will save us a lot of time!!! This games looks like its going to take us as much time as it did take me with GT2 and GT4!!! Please save us!

yea I thought the same about GT4, again PD fails to deliver on such simple, but very desirable option.👎

+1 I hope they implement. 
Worried there may be a technical limitation that prevented them from doing it, like the PS3 couldn't handle it. Even lap to lap skipping would help.

I know I might be repeating some of the comments above but I just have to have my say.
After all this time and the great features the game has I just can't understand why were unable to ff/rr the replays, especially as you were able in other GT games.
They have this great photo feature yet you are only able to try and hopefuly get the moment you want to photo by guessing and pressing pause ?! Then if you fail you have to watch the entire replay again ?! Just imagine later in the game when you take part in a long race and there is a certain point you want to capture ?!
The same goes for the great feature of head tracking, why just have it only useable in the acrade mode at beginner level only ?! just doesn't make sense !

It's actually a bit worse then that, because a long race won't be fully recorded - I usually only get 2 laps of a 3 lap race.
My question is whether anybody's been able to switch between cars. I'm not sure why a list of racers is provided in the replay when you are no longer able to attach the camera to them. Another feature lost?
Not a great loss, but, no more Dive Replay. Remember the 'music video' effect?

Maybe there is a technical reason behind the lack of ff/fr: I am not sure if the whole track is loaded to the limited graphics memory. If only a limited section is loaded then it might not be possible to implement the ff/fr because of the limited speed of memory read/write operation.

Yep I have been saving the Replays from my Enduros on the hope that maybe one day I won't have to sit thru 2hrs of my replay to get the shots of my cars beat up and dirty from a long race...
Even just a lap skip would be fine(forward and back) at least then you could get "close" to what you wanted to shoot.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the grave, but the lack of RW/FF has enraged me over the last few days. I had to capture a short clip of an incident on the 45th lap of an online race from multiple angles, meaning I had to let the entire replay play through three times to get three different angles of the same incident.
Please, for the love of all that is good in this world, implement these features already!
