The current score on Metacritic is pretty much in line with the last 2 movies in the series. They are fun, solid blockbuster action movies with casts full of likable stars. Why wouldn't they get positive reviews?

I agree. I am looking forward to seeing this on Saturday with my friends and family. Always been a fan of the series. Its had its share of corny, cheesy moments, unrealistic events, and bad acting but overall the series has been enjoyable for entertainment. 👍
