Fastest FF Car?

:sly:

Update:

I took an RM DC5, maxed it out with the best turbo and all the goodies (380hp, 950kg). On sports softs and 10/10 downforce, i managed a 7:15 on the ring. Took SRT4 back out and managed about the same. That car is a handful. So much harder to drive correctly.

Power to weight and PP for both:

RM DC5: 2.44, 529pp, 7:15
SRT-4: 2.18, 557pp, 7:15

Probably an unfair comparison, racecar to streetcar. Still, an eye opener with how impressive the RM FF cars are.

the best front wheel drive car is the peugeot 106 s16 276 bhp fully tuned and get the gear ratios right it will go past two hundred

Made a new account to be a troll?

Personally I like the Honda Civic Type R, seems fast and relatively sporty(good brakes, handling, ect.), though I havent bought and tried it out, just used it in the license A part 5(?).

No.

"You will not post material that is knowingly false"

Unless you are talking about slipstreaming, in which maybe that number can be acheivable.

Im siding with locoman88 on this... just a troll, but I could be wrong.

You don't know if he's talking about Km/h or Mp/h ..

If you're just looking for Route X or La Sarthe straight line runners you'll be hard pressed to beat the SRT in anything else with the FF layout. There are a couple that get close, there's the Eclipse GT and a Civic (or Accord, can't remember offhand right now) that produce well over 500bhp.
Circuit runners however are a different matter. My favourite weapons for this are Honda CRz TC, Citroen Xsara Rally and Motul Mugen. A trick I also use is to mis-match the tyre compounds so the rear of the car slides slightly during cornering, which also reduces the understeer (slightly)

i thought i was the only one to do that ;)

Make it different enough and you can get some good F-Dori pics

SRT4 is the only FF car I have fun in.. Yesterday I was doing "Drags from a roll" and pulled it out to fight a GTR that had 800 horsepower. The driver was like.. "You can't be serious..." and then I won.. and the room howled with laughter, I had tears streaming

damn, that is nothing short of epic. speaking of which, I had a very similar experience. It was with my favorite FF car, the Spoon Civic EK9. :)

I was driving around my touge-ish custom Toscana track in a public lobby with some other dudes. I had a sprint race against a player using a Chevelle SS, both of us were using Sports:Soft Tires and running under the same PP, 485 I think. I spouted some friendly trash talk before the race, saying "muscle cars don't have a place here in the touge. get out, scram" of course I won the race :sly:. He then challenged me to a 1/4 mile drag race on the start/finish straight (my custom track has a nice, flat straight, which is rare for a Toscana track). He use his Chevelle again, this time he tuned it to 500hp. guess what, I won the drag race. :dopey: my 280hp Honda Civic won against a 500hp Chevelle on the quarter mile :sly::sly: at first he had a better start, but my EK9's smooth revving engine soon picked up the slack and humiliated him further. :sly::sly::lol::lol:

Maybe you should race my 160 Honda Beat

Or my 300 HP 1/4 tuned BMW. (I'm a 1/4 tuner)

LOL what really surprised me about that incident is that my EK9 isn't tuned for 1/4 mile, and yet the race was my opponent car's home ground. I laughed so hard back then.

That aside, I read through some of the posts here and I had no idea the SRT4 can reach in excess of 600hp  maybe I should try tuning one, I have 3 or 4 in my collection :D

That's awesome :p

VW Scirocco.

280HP, and that thing handles like a 4WD car! It's amazing. Before I got this car, the Volvo C30 and Focus ST were the only FF that I dared to tune beyond 260HP.

The Honda Integra and Civic Type R handle well for being FF cars, but they don't get along too well with such high HP levels.

That is epic! Well done. I'd love to see a replay of that.
