 You need to get out more :sly:

@OP - B-Spec 300km enduro is your friend 👍

I'll be out on St. Pat's, and I guess after that I will have had enough for a while... if that's what you tried to tell me.

I also have a job and a dog so I know that the sun is green and the grass is yellow...
Uhmmm wait a minute...

^^ so I'm a boring weirdo when I do 10 laps SSX all alone but online, where 1 to 15 others are doing the exact same thing it is socially accepted??? :sly:

The way I do it?

Have my girlfriend set it for B-spec and let it go while we (and other friends) play Brawl. I almost never break cars in, though.

I can not find any posts about special ways of break-in engines / 'train' a car. As far as I know all that matters is the mileage no importa 'how'.

Could you provide a link or elaborate your claim, please?

Which claim?

If you want a helpful link, here's one, and there's more links in the OP of that thread:

As for giving away the other secrets of the dark arts I practise . . . just don't redline your engine. And run it in a variety of situations. Change oil regularly . . . oh! hold on. That's only when breaking in an engine IRL.

Just bench-run your engines okay? They'll do fine. ;) 👍

It's like the race never existed - but it does affect the car.

Break in the car using your best B-Spec driver. Or do it personally - if you want to 'train' the car a special way.

Maybe this is witchcraft - but the way you break-in the 'engine' is important, too.
There are a couple of threads around.. . .

I read that thread before, no mention of 'special ways' to 'train' an engine.. idk what you mean.

As Johnnypenso said:
The way it's broke in doesn't matter. It's just a matter of getting 300 km on the car.

300 km is the recommended break-in mileage.

That translates to 186.4 miles.
Yes.

Just go to the B-Spec Endurance/300 KM Grand Valley for new and prize cars. That is, if you have level 25 in B-Spec.

Win/lose? Who cares if your goal is complete break-in. Just set it up, and go to bed.

There are a few cars which need more than 200 miles to get broken, So I always put 250 miles in all cars.
They all need 300 km for the full potential. That lasts till they have 5,000 km. Rebuild the engine before you reach 5,000 km to retain full potential.

Now for some reason I don't understand, all 0 mileage cars purchased online are fully broke in.
