Fastest way to earn credits..

So you're saying once you meet an unlawful amount they couldn't find you through the servers @NicoSS90, @warp9engage. Do you have any clue what your PS3 is actually sending every time we play? Just asking, because if you really knew you wouldn't want to glitch up to that 500 bucks.

Addition:
There's a serial number on the back of our PS3's that number follows us around no matter what we're doing on the PS3. (You can check up on in yourselves by calling the Sony PS3 help line.) No matter how many account you have on the PS3 that number is attached to them all. They know who's glitching and I'm sure they're keeping a total.

So at this point I'm at the IB level and the Like a Wind series has opened up for me. If I were to grind it out until I got 6mm credit, got an X1, and rubber-banded my controller, would the serial number on the back of my PS3 rat me out?!!?1!!?11?? :scared:
 
Why would they patch it when common sense should comes into play knowing that in game credits are bout with cash. 50.00 bucks get you 7,000,000, now if you get those credits illegally over a period of time will add up @NicoSS90. No rubber bands on the control will not get you in trouble @khj94704.

Every time we make a perches, sign on-line, play a game, go to play station home, send a message or anything over the Sony Play Station network that serial number follows us @warp9engage. I'm just pointing out there is no reason for someone getting in trouble for STEALING money because they want to get credits fast so they can buy the cars they want to have a great time. Especially after what they learned from GT5 and what I read in the new contract agreement that WE all agreed too. Along with money being involved all over the world and you don't think they'll take it to the maximum within international law?

ALL I was stating and pointing out that people are setting themselves up for major punishment just for a bloody glitch. Within international law which the new contract agreement is under, if they happen to do arrest someone for these glitches or future hacking the prosecuted in regular court or internal court.

I came here to find out about the same thing "How to get credits" with out buying them. I've already spent enough money getting the race cars for testing for my series. I seen a post and I gave my insight to what could happen. Some of you took it to the next level with out knowing anything of the NEW contract agreement. And that when I asked if anyone has read it. Apparently none of you that are posting here besides myself has bothered to read the whole thing.

Ok, this is starting to go too off-topic but I feel like I have to say something about your post and hopefully put this to rest.

I don't know what my console is sending every time I play. Do you? All I know is that most of the time it sends nothing because it's completely disconnected from the internet. Regardless, I'm not concerned because glitches of this kind have been a part of video-games since the Stone Age and I honestly don't remember anyone getting banned, much less arrested, for using them, especially if they are for private use (offline). Like I said, if you haven't changed the rules (i.e. modified anything for your benefit) and the game lets you do it, then, by all means go ahead. You also seem to think that in-game credits are always associated directly with real currency, when they're not. Credit packs are optional, meaning that, with enough time and dedication, everything in the game can be bought through grinding credits. I could understand your point of stealing if the only way to get to the content was by paying for it, and the glitch was allowing people to get around that. However, that is not the case, I don't have to spend one extra dime of my money if I don't want to.

Finally, and without any offense meant, I can't help but get a vibe of paranoia from the rest of your post. You make it sound a little like the PS3 is an Xbox One before the one-eighty: a hear-all, see-all device.

Its being sold on the original version of the game. They have to work backwards.
 
So is it a good idea to use the glitch to get some expensive cars? As i am at the S events and only got 5.5 milion. And i rather drive the cars than repeat an race over and over to get some cash.

Talk about a game breaking glitch stamped on nearly every disc because of this update. With the glitch being executed on the disc base version, this makes the glitch very hard to patch or even find a workaround for it. All because Sony had to slate a release date for the game...

This just makes me very sad. I don't think even GT5 was this broken from the start. Now that the word is spreading, it's making the microtransactions and grinding useless. Even though I haven't done the glitch and have been enjoying the game for what it is at the moment, it's just very disheartening.

I'll be honest and say that I am tempted to do the glitch, though. The temptation is nigh...


Back on topic, I do the Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway event for the NASCAR cup in I-A, as someone previously mentioned. Tune your NASCAR right and you can earn 54k in Cr. every three minutes.
 
In GT5 with seasonals earning credits was easy. And also fun with the 2J at the Nordschleife.
 
They can fix the AMG glitch very easily in the future -- just change the save game format going forward so it's incompatible with the launch version of the game. You can buy all of the AMG cars you want, but when you roll back to the original version of the game, it won't understand the save file.

Same here. Most likely I won't glitch because the game is supposed to last for some time, and I do not think it's that difficult to make money. You can repeat missions and do it legal, so I'm not stressing about money at the moment :)

Could you explain what f399 meant about patching/edit the AMG?

It's basically what @jbrennen said; that could be a possible fix. GT5 had a similar effect where the game locked if it tried to load a save file if it was too new, only on the base version though.

The only problem with this is if people still have not downloaded the V1.01 patch yet due to network issues. Then all of their gained progress will be lost...

A future patch could read old save games, just not write them. It's not particularly tricky at all -- it's the same idea as the fact that the latest Microsoft Word can read Word documents from 10 years ago, but Microsoft Word from 10 years ago can't read today's save format.

First time you update to v1.1 (or whatever version it might be), it would read your save file and write out a new save file in a format which is useless to older versions of the game.

If it makes you sleep better at night, then fine, don't glitch. That's all that I can say to you. I've actually gone and read PSN's most recent terms of service and find no mention of these severe punishments you speak of. You seem to be taking a trivial issue and magnifying it to Godzilla proportions out of irrational fear.

Anyway, I've been liking the tips on this thread. I will be giving Ascari and Like The Wind a shot. I'm still hoping for high-paying seasonal events though.

P.S (to Zuel) - Shuhei Yoshida himself stated on twitter that Credit Packs are an alternative to busy people. You can get all the cars legally using only in-game money. How you get that in-game money (as long as you don't modify the code) is completely up to you. Besides, even with the glitch, it would still take you over 5 hours of grinding to get the most expensive cars. The Credit Packs are for people who don't even have that time.

In the S class races, this track appears in an event as a 10 lap race granting 133,130 Cr. to the victor. Using the above glitch lets you complete the race in less then 2 minutes with another 30 seconds including the loading time to start another.

If you're consistent and with a good car, you should have no problem completing this event 23-25 times (3,060,000 - 3,330,000 Cr.) in an hour.

I really hope they bring back seasonals. I want to get the game, but I'm not going to if i have to slog it out for years on end to so much as afford the tires for a race car. While i do like to race for the cars, the size of the garage i had in GT5.. It would take years to hit that again in GT6 with no seasonals for me. I dont have time for that, nor do I have the patience or attention span for repetitive grinding for small payouts.

It does work in 1.01.
Unless there's been a sneaky patch for it in the last 16hrs.
Will check an see if it still works.

EDIT: Had a micro update, but can confirm the Ascari track glitch is still in 1.01

im gonna check out this glitch when i get home from work...
3 days of gamplay and im still just at 600K...still 400 away from my mclaren f1

that like the wind indy race is definitely not super easy with the vision AMG, its a proper fight to the finish.
Maybe im just a slow driver.
 
Ascari glitch isnt working anymore...i never got to exploit it lol.
 
Grinding the Nascar race 3m00 for 52.000 credits it`s the best way to get credits for now
 
That's a fun one - you can also bump while you grind. And it's legal, too.

Don't buy the F1, you win it for getting half the stars in the S class events.
 
Do you think maybe if u grinded and grinded and grinded hours n days perhaps weeks of your life away on Gt5 to buy cars like the Macf1 , Nissan /nsx / viper concepts and le mans road cars
Maybe waited months for the zonda 7.3 to turn up in the used car market.
Cars that are the same cars Gt5 to Gt6
Then pd could find a way to gift u or discount u at least for your loyalty ?
 
Grinding endless hours of same races for cars worth tens of millions is simply ridiculous. It's not a fun game anymore.

Sell mercedes, get all the money you need :)
