Fastest way to reset used car dealership? [Answered]

I'm trying to buy myself an fgt but it's not appearing and the dealership is always selling the same car.

Note it's the used car dealership and not online dealership. And no suggestion for trading/duplicating etc please. Wanna get mine this way
 
Open B1 in the license tests, then go directly to B2, then B3 etc.... after B5 has opened exit license tests and UCD has been 100% replenished....

Rinse and repeat as necessary.....
 
try a search.

you can do a license event or a race. either will advance the dealership 1 day. 5 license tests will give you an all new dealership inventory
 
The lic tests used to be the fastest way but not any more.

Go into any race A-Spec. Start the race then hit the start button and exit the race this now takes you back to the start race screen where you can repeat the process 5 times more quickly than the tests as the track does not need to reload each time. After the 5th time go back to the dealership.

But that way will affect your win ratio. Some might not care, but I bet a lot of people won't want that.

I don't see any win ratio in GT5 (there was one in GT4).
Am I wrong ?

No, I don't think you are. I can't see a win ratio anywhere either, your profile shows a total number of victories not a percentage of how many victories out of your total number of races like GT4 did.
 
I just run B-Spec Dream Car Championship.
5 race wins + championship bonus will net close to 1 million credits.
That will in turn rotate the used car dealership, and help level up your driver.
I've been doing this forever, and have just about every race car offered
there, and now starting my vintage and concept collection.

What win ratio? I have not saw this stat recorded anywhere only thing I see is number of wins. The log does not even show you have entered a race only shows when you win it.
 
Fastest way to reset used car dealership is to go to any race and start race, quit race, start race, quit race, for a total of 5 times and you have completly reset the used car lot.
 
WTF? GT5 doesn't let you keep track of how many races you've been in? I know it has wins, but I thought I saw # of races somewhere.

Wait, does stupid B-Spec Bob get a win ratio but we don't? Could that be possible? That can't be the way it is.

Download the Complied car list in TornadoAlley's sig.

Work out which day your on, scroll down till the next appearance of the FGT, count the days.

Then go an race normally for that many days.

That way you spend no time fruitlessly refreshing the UCD.

It worked for me, I was level 23, and worked out I had 62 days to get to level 24, and raise 4.9 million, went to the UCD on the expected day, and bought my FGT :)
 
You will find the Used Dealer always sells the same FGT, a Blue one.
