I doubt they would go to such involvement but a dedicated challenge seems in the realm of possibilities, or even a time trial with this combo car + track layout (but it would be much more interesting if it is done with the official endorsement of MV)They could go even further. iRacing is using real pro drivers to tune each race car nowadays, and GT could do the same if they wanted. It's very good marketing.
That's right, and maybe he does not consider GT as a serious enough sim. But maybe the popularity could play in our favor. On the passion side of thing, it may not motivate him, but on the marketing side, it could be interesting for cross-promoting.The difference is that Lewis actually played Gran Turismo. I don't think I've ever seen Max do so, he has other sims of choice.
I have a feeling his recent quote about FWD cars would be similar to his sentiment about Gran Turismo. I hope someone asks him about it, just so I can watch the world burn lol.maybe he does not consider GT as a serious enough sim.
I'm fairly ambiguous when it comes to max, I think he's couci-couça@whiteusagi and @Abyss1 : why the poo emoji ? you don't like this type of challenge ? you don't like Verstappen ?
If such a challenge would come, you wouldn't have to partake so I am curious to know why you don't like the idea/thread ☺️
Ok, I understand your feeling. Not a fan either, but such a challenge would be great anyway.I'm fairly ambiguous when it comes to max, I think he's couci-couça
Lewis at Ferrari challenge sounds super challenging.what if we get a new Lewis Hamilton challenge as it existed in GT Sport?
Doesn't Hamilton hate sims? He might be the best driver in the world but he's openly not a sim kind of guy. Which is awkward since GT is all about sim driving. The difference is that Lewis actually played Gran Turismo. I don't think I've ever seen Max do so, he has other sims of choice.
He hates racing games as a training tool for pros. He actually loves simcade games like GT, and maybe others.Doesn't Hamilton hate sims? He might be the best driver in the world but he's openly not a sim kind of guy. Which is awkward since GT is all about sim driving.
Verstappen on the other hand is very involved with the sim scene. If I was PD I would definitely want this guy to play my game and even sponsor it. Having said that, Idk if he would be interested in a sponsorship since GT is strictly on console which is not the best platform for professionals. But hey, you never know. Maybe in GT8. Depends what Yamauchi is cooking behind the scene.
Have a look at the banner on the windshield of all the other carsIf you look at the banner on the windshield of Max's Ferrari that he race in at the Nurb, it is the Gran Turismo banner.....so maybe there's already something in the works there.
This means absolutely nothing. Polyphony is one of the most prominent race sponsors. You will see "Gran Turismo" on the windshield of 1000's of cars around the globe. It has nothing to do with anything coming to GT7.If you look at the banner on the windshield of Max's Ferrari that he race in at the Nurb, it is the Gran Turismo banner.....so maybe there's already something in the works there.
Which always puzzled me... what's the point ?This means absolutely nothing. Polyphony is one of the most prominent race sponsors. You will see "Gran Turismo" on the windshield of 1000's of cars around the globe. It has nothing to do with anything coming to GT7.
Marketing. Millions of race fans around the globe see "Gran Turismo" front and center on their favourite race cars. Great way to advertise for a racing game. Beyond that, Kaz is a huge racing fan, and even takes part in many races. So, it makes perfect sense.Which always puzzled me... what's the point ?
