what happens if they dump you, do you lose that ability to not lose your weapons when busted or wasted?

yeah but the bit about busted and wasted and losing no weapons is very good, i just might only have 2 gf's though i might take them all up to 100% then leave them alone except the police and the nurse

I don't know. I've only killed 2 of the useless ones. I wonder about Michelle, whether you can use her own personal Pay 'n' Spray, or whether you can still access Helena's Shed?

That's a good question, Dion.

well im at 3% with michelle so i could test that one tommorow i suppose, well today as its 12:27am for me atm lol.

Anyway, this is getting fairly off-topic. Let's get back to our Favourite Cars. For more discussion on this topic, consult the General San Andreas Discussion and Questions, or Guide to the Ladies threads. ;)

I've noticed on roads, esp highways, the speeds of AI traffic is much more realistic than in previous gt3, and VC....you don't just pass on will, AI 's got it floored too !

well done moderator...

I still like the Sandking and the Hydra its the bomb, ive driven it the most recently. 600km of planes and its about 500 of that id say

I just finished the pilots licence, and passed with bronze I think, I got the WW2 looking p51 mustang, ( not sure the real name ) that things banks like a dream....loved dogfighting with the jets !

The only thing that sucks about the Hydra is that it only has missiles... It should have some phat machine guns... and also can you taxi it on the runway... at the end of that mission I found it almost impossible to get it into the hangar as I just kept on taking off (Was in Hover mode?!) Do you need to push the nozzles forward to taxi?

Yea, you have to push forward the nozzles to taxi. I know it wouldn't be realistic but I think it would be better to be able to flick between vertical and horizontal nozzles at the push of a button. It takes so loooooonnnnnnng to change between them, especially when you're in a dog fight with 3 other Hyrdas.

I don't mind. I'm fine with the way it is.

I don't care much for the Hydra though. I'd rather the War Plane that Jay was talking about. That's a beautiful plane.

I found a Manana last night. Not sure what you guys think but it seems like its a very rare car in S.A. I have only seen it a handfull of times.

Anyway I totally riced it out with a carbon rear spoiler, chrome rims, 10 x nitro, hydro suspension, bass boost, big exhaust and finished off by giving it an really ugly lime green color. It looks cool in a MTV - pimp my ride, kind of way.

Its all show and no go. You have to use the nitro to go somewhat fast. I have had some fun with it in the light offroad tracks. Its lack of speed but nice handling makes it easy to hit the apex on some tricky bends.

The Elegy has become one of my favourite cars to drive around for fun. I just love to drift everywhere. I love my Buccaneer, too. It's not too bad for sliding around corners.

i do like drifing in the elegy as well, though my transport of choice lately has been the hunter, yep ive gotten used to the L1 shooting button, but the camera is way to slow to keep up with the hunter :( otherwise it would be way easier to control.

The hunter would have to be my favourite vechilce atm

The winsor is a 1967 Ferrari 330 gts so there are 2 Ferrari look alikes in San Andreas this and the cheeta ( testarossa )

My favorite tho in the game is the Clover there usually in a $hit state but once they been resprayed there cool look just like the old Dodge Challenger.

Wow thats a nice looking car. I think you've finally picked what that is. I still think the windsor has some Jag E type styling cues but it definitly looks more like that Ferrari. Also, the Turismo looks like a Ferrari F40 or so I think so 3 Ferrari lookalikes

I've been haveing a bit of fun with Uranus lately (not like that), quite a good car, but I think it could do with a littler more power.

For a mid-range car, the Sultan doesn't seem bad in terms of speed and handling. And you can spice it up in Wheel Arch Angels.

KM.

yeah the sultans has some get go, i also like the remington, its fast and powerful and looks cool after you take it to lo loco lows (it think thats the name)

I really enjoyed driving the Sultan. Fairly easy to drive, but it reminds me too much of a Subaru (which obviously it is based off), and I don't like Subarus.

Also, I don't seem to be able to see that picture of the Ferrari. All I see is a picture saying "Image Hosted by Tripod".

yeah its offline for me also, but i did see it when i posted my post yesterday

i dont really like suburas but meh, the sultan is the best street car

I'm dissappointed in how the Taxi handles. In GTA III it was one of my favourite vehicles because it was middling fast but it handled like a dream. It corner fantastically and you could do fast reverse handbrake turns from a stop. So if you picked up a passenger who needed to go the opposite direction from where you were headed, you could spin the Taxi round and zoom off in the opposite direction in a fraction of a second.

I was dissapointed in Vice City because the Taxi was similar but not as good and in San Andreas the Taxi is even more boring. That means that I'm not going to bother doing Taxi missions for the enjoyment of it. I actually loved doing dozens or hundreds of Taxi fares in a row in GTA III but I don't think I could be bothered in San Andreas, even though the Taxis have hydraulics AND nitrous oxide when you've completed them.

KM.

I hate the Hydraulics that they give you for completing Taxi. They are very far-fetched, and I don't understand it myself. At least they could have replaced something other than the Horn, as the Horn is an integral part of a Taxi!

I don't mind the Taxi. I thought it was more fun in Vice City, but I don't find any problem with it in San Andreas. I won't say realism, but it's pretty good in that sense.

It's not a car I'd normally drive in either Vice City or San Andreas, but I used it A LOT in GTA III because it was very common on the streets and it was fast enough and handled well enough that I used it regularly for missions. But it's just a bit boring in San Andreas. It makes the Taxi mission a bit frustrating and not as much fun as in previous games. But at least there's only 50 passengers to go through. That made it a bit more bearable.

If I saw it on the street when I was on foot and lost my vehicle in Liberty City, I'd grab one immediately because I loved it, but when on foot in San Andreas, I tend to ignore it.

KM.

i used it lots in GTA3, it was one of the fastest non sports cars available, and like you said it handled like a dream. now its front wheel drive and slow. :( man is it slow.

It was always front wheel drive, that's what allows it to do those great backward 180s :). I don't think I've even driven a Taxi in San Andreas yet, lol. Except in that driving test.
