i have 3 for 3 different reasons.

1: Alonso, he is my overall fave who i want to win the championship and the races etc.

2: Button, he is english so i will always naturally follow him and hope he does well.

3: Klien, he is young and i would love to see him do well and watch him get better and learn from himself and other drivers.

He ruined it for himself last year when before one race weekend he said that Jaguar always gave better equipment to Webber and that he was better, then Webber went and bet him in the race when Webber was in a Jag & Pizzonia was in a William's. Trying to pursuade Williams he was better & then it backfired big time

ya supposedly Pizzonia and Webber dont like each other at all...i have no doubt Webber had a hand in Heidfeld getting the seat instead of Pizzonia...but so far it seems to have backfired for Webber

How so. So far it's 3-0 to Webber.

Melb 1-0: He was definately better at Melbourne and was on for a podium until half way through and then he started to drop off (slowly) while heidlfield was battling Michael.

Malaysia 2-0: Webber was on for a podium until Fisi closed his eyes and hoped for the best. It's fair to say Nick got the position Mark deserved that day due to Fisi. Remember Nick had a NEW engine that day while the others were running on their 2nd.

Bahrain 3-0: This was probably the closest Nick has been. His engine would have been significantly weaker due to running in Malaysia but if we factor that in he's close but not better. Mark was doing well and on for another podium until a mistake from him. As a result his pace dropped off due to the tyres and all.

Yeah so 3-0. I expect someone to argue against me :P

i can understand trying to defend a driver you like but 3-0 webber?...lets not be ridiculous...im not comparing driving styles here, all im saying is Heidfeld has been at the very least the equal of Webber so far and Heidfeld has a podium to his name whereas Webber prefers spinning off...and i dont think its fair to say Heidfeld got the podium Webber deserved...he had a racing incident with Fisi, how does that diminish Heidfelds performance?...i dont care how much of a Webber fan you are he hasnt come flying out of the gates like everyone expected...in my opinion all he needs is a podium and his confidence level will grow off of that and we may see him regularly...but personally im hoping Heidfeld shows him up and gets more podiums this year...he is vastly underrated and after being stuck with all those mid to low field teams i think its about time he got some success...

I ain't the one being ridiculous here. Let's compare them on an even field. Webber was outpacing Heidfield in Malaysia. Yes Heidfield got the podium, BUT if Fisi didn't take out Webber would Webber have got it. In my mind YES. He was charging through. Futhermore insulting Webber with the spinning off comment >_>

You were saying something about diminishing Heidfields performance. I didn't say that. It doesn't diminish his performance. But if Fisi didn't take Mark out no doubt that the podium was his. I noticed you like to post something that disagrees with me and fair enough. I don't care how much of a Heidfield fan you are either. I honestly hope though that Mark continues to outperform Nick like he has done this season.

Let's not forget Heidfield has had more experience in F1 than Mark. Better teams. PLUS he has had more financial backing. Personally I prefer Jenson over Webber but I strongly believe he has outplayed his team mate this year. So are you going to continue this or is it settled.

look webber has been riding that 5th in melbourne for some time now...hes a good driver, he just needs to get some strong finishes and he will gain confidence and get results...i like heidfelds driving style...i think hes underrated and im happy hes doing well this season...i dont think heidfeld has been on better teams than webber as you state and i think they both seem to be evenly matched...i really started to dislike button after the whole buttongate saga last year and after reading his ridiculous book but i wont get into that...

The 5th for Minardi was a feat even though half the field didn't finish :P He tried hard for strong finishes. He did qualify well numerous times in the Jaguar. Putting it on the 2nd row numerous times too. Shame is starts like a snail. Webber was on for some strong finishes over these 3 races. Malaysia and Bahrain. Malaysia was no fault of his. Bahrain. Well yeah he did make the one mistake which in turn screwed his chances. He fought off Pedro well for a while though although being a bit cheeky to him.

Heidfield's driving style is okay too. I don't hate Nick either dude so chill. I prefer and will ALWAYS prefer him over Pizzonia. If I hated Nick I could have gone on a rant about BMW wanting a German driver.

I sometimes dislike Buttons attitude but as a driver you can't blame him for emotions or stupid mistakes. Personally if Frank offered me a better check I would have switched too. But regardless. Whatever seat you are in you always aim to win.

yes yes thats great...

and dont tell me to "chill"...im not the one getting heated over this issue...

and fyi button wasnt trying to switch for more money...

Well it seemed like it. You always had to get the last word in didn't ya? Regardless if Frank Williams offered more moneywise/carwise I would have taken it. No disrespect to Honda (I supported them last year and even bought some BAR Merch).

SATO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hes my favorite, except he pops his motor too much

yes i always have to get the last word in...

button wanted to move to williams because he thought it was a better team regardless of money...he was right and if he would have asked me i would have told him to switch...its just the way he went about it made him look very foolish...he followed the advice of his attorney byfield...byfield was a complete idiot and i dont know how that man practices law...anyway honda is doing very poorly this year so i have no doubt that he will switch to williams for 2006...mind you, if they had been doing well he would get stuck at BAR...

Not letting you get the last word in here. Obviously Button wanted to switch to a better team but also sponsorship and other factors would help contribute to the swtich. I love Honda with all my heart but I knew Honda would go down hill this season. They didn't concentrate on the new regulations like Renault did. Renault made the smarter choice. Their sacrifice is starting to pay off.

actually honda keeps trying to make a motor that will break 1000HP (and they want to be faster than ferrari) but the problem is they cant make that 1000HP reliably yet...they have the speed, as proven by their setting the new lap record at barcelona in testing, but they do not have that speed reliably...yet...

Every team is trying to do one thing or another. I wish Honda the best but if it's for this season it may be rather a waste since regulations may be changing soon.

where are you getting your info?...regulations wont be changing soon...

they will remain the same until 2007...theres even a thread about it on this forum ...

I thought they were changing at the end of 2006. In any regards that is pretty soon. Most teams have a 5 year plan. I am not sure whether you know this or not young one but it takes a while for things to happen in F1. You don't go from zero to hero.

well about the only thing right in your post was that im young (21)...

and once again thank you for stating the obvious...

you know your right, i should show some mercy and let you off the hook this thread...maybe this will teach you not to try and pick fights on the internet

I don't need your mercy, but I am the one letting you off the hook. Maybe this might teach you to pull your head out of the sand and either accept peoples opinions or facts YOU FIND HARD TO STOMACH. You lost the argument. You failed.

oh yes of course you are letting me off the hook ...your e-thuggery will not make me accept your ridiculous opinions...maybe you should try and learn a bit about F1 before you try to throw a tantrum over your so-called opinions...and i havent lost anything...judging from your responses you seem to be on the defensive, not me

I don't think I need a lesson in F1. Maybe you should look in the mirror. I am just telling you how it is chump. You definately need to be schooled. Were you holding the door when god was handing out brains or something. It seems you were. I feel sorry for you. All you wanted to do was rant on Heidfield and look where it got you.

 this gets better and better...

i think you not only need a lesson in F1, you need a lesson in social skills...

you are not telling anyone how it is because you are not capable of doing so...you have not only been schooled, you have been owned...by me...repeatedly

oh, and props on the joke...if thats your "A" material your in for a long and humiliating life...

believe it or not, i feel sorry for you...all you wanted to do was be an e-thug and look where it got you

Please, could you two stop ruining a good thread?

You can decide who pwned who on msn.

The regs are not changing till 2007, besides the possibility of an engine regulation change, they may be going to V8's next seasonm so yes, Honda may be concerntrating on the wrong thing & not looking long term
