A Blonde Fender Telecaster with a Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece.

My dream guitar is a sunburst evh ebmm, serial 80850, that I think belongs to solid lifters now.I bought that guitar when I was 13, spent my life savings on it and years later, when I moved out on my own, sold it to pay rent, car payments etc..I regretted selling it instantly. I've been searching the net for years to find it, and I saw a pic on yahoo that led me to this forum. If it is the guitar I will gladly buy solid lifters a new evh wolfgang to replace it and I'd probably do anything to get it back.I will clean his house and cook his family dinner, and wash his car if he wishes. If it is not, I apologize in advance for my gushing over the guitar, and I hope solid lifters is not annoyed at my advances to buy it from him.

I bought my guitar brand new in 1992-1993 at Guitar Center. I did a refret about two years ago and Ernie Ball's son told me the history of my guitar. He said the guitar went from Music Man to Guitar Center and then to me.

You need to keep searching for your guitar and no, mine isn't for sale. :sly:

Thanks man, I guess I gotta keep searching, Sorry to bother you man, BUt the little nick by the bottom strap lock in the pic you have, looked just like the nick on my guitar. Thanks dude,

At the moment, I am loving my current cheapo axe.

Susanna Hoffs' Signiture Rickenbacker 350SH

The only thing hotter than that guitar is Susanna Hoffs herself!

Rickenbackers are way too underrated. It's all Fenders or Gibsons these days, and Ibanez for the metal guys. If I'd ever get rich, a Rickenbacker guitar and bass would be at the top of my list.

Personally I still haven't given up on my American maple neck Strat dream. Expensive as can be, but I still am going to buy a maple neck some day. That or customize my Mexican strat, although I adore it for its stock-ness.

Not all metal guys use Ibanez, I'm not a metal kind of person and I'm using a S420. Why should only people into metal be allowed to get some of things the Ibanez guitars can do? :p

I quite like Rickenbackers too, especially the bass for some bizzarre reason. It just looks a tad better than the guitar in my opinion.

My dream guitar remains the same, a Manson MB-1. It's stupidly expensive, and I'm sure you could get a better guitar for less, or even make my own for less money. But I'm a Muse fan, and that is the biggest (and most awesome) piece of Muse merchandise ever.

I own two guitars.

A Gibson Les Paul Standard (04) Heritage Cherry Sunburst with Burstbuckers (my favourite. The maple top is beautifully flamed and the finish is aging slightly)
A Gibson Les Paul Standard (05) Goldtop with P90's (part of a limited run)

My "Dream" guitars (and guitars I plan to own in the next few years)

A Gibson Les Paul Custom Alpine White
A Gibson Les Paul Custom Black
A Gibson Les Paul Standard Aged tobacco burst (Like the Slash/Jo Perry les paul. They do not currently make guitars in this finish, so I am going to buy a new Standard in as near to this finish as possible and have it refinished)

I would love a bass in the shape of the Ibanez Fireman!

I'm eventually going to build one, but for now, I own my dream bass:

ordered the parts from Warmoth, and put it together in August last year. still plays awesome! I need a fret leveling/redressing, though.

For the axe men (and ladies) out there.

Fair enough, it's not a '59, but it's in mint condition... Think the term "closet classic" applies here.

I imagine the owner would be pretty annoyed... A guitar in that condition has probably only had one owner who has kept it good for years... Which leads me to believe that he or she may have chosen this over a 59, which would have been worth a lot more in this condition...

My black Gibson SG, I've always been a sucker for the SG.

I'd really like to get my hands on a Esp Viper with emg pick ups as well;)

^^^ Deftones, anyone? :P
My dreamguitar would be.... None.
Cause I'm slappa da beaash! :D
I have a Ibanez BTB675.

A beauty if you ask me...
Though my dreambass would be a black on black Jazz Bass, 4 string, black headstock, chrome bridge and pickup cover, and a rosewood fretboard on a maple neck.
Runner up would be the Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string. No explanation needed.

I absolutely adore Taka Hirose's bass guitars (Feeder). He designs them himself, which all add up to the greatness of his axes 👍

Epic looking body with a fantastic finish.

As far as guitars go, the Fender Jazzmaster and David Gilmour's black strat are probably my dream guitars.

I love tele. I own a '62 Japanese RI Tele and it plays like a dream.
I would love to own a strat though at some point because I had to sell my mexican strat to get my hands on the tele. It doesn't help that I'm a working student :(
