Favorite Rally Car.

What are pepoles favorite rally cars to use? I'm trying decide which one to get. I'm thinking the evo prototype and the delta. Any sugestions before I go through the trouble of getting them?

Ford Escort. I tried others, but this one can beat them all except maybe the Pikes Peak Escudo.

You might have to give it a bit more power, but that can be done easily enough.

I woud have the escudo on here but it handles like crap.

The Integrale is my fave, but it's nowhere near the fastest (this isn't counting the Escudo which serves no purpose in GT3 at all).

It's pretty competitive vs. anything else if you don't take into account power adders. Did anyone run a comparison, by the way? Which one of the wrc's is the fastest?

The Impreza prototype I think is the fastest, either that or the EVO VII prototype. And the Delta is competative against the AI, but race against yourself in time trial and you will beat with all of the WRC cars barring the Xsara which I don't think is a WRC car anyway.

My favorites seem to be much different from everyone elses, but here are mine (in no order):

-Impreza Rally Car (not prototype)
-Xsara Rally Car
-206 Rally Car
-Lancer EVO VI Rally Car

hands down, the impreza rally car protoype is my favorite rally car, i used it to win almost all of the rally series, as well as some of the road races.

i started with the 206, but i like the delta and the CTR2. (I know its not a rally car, but its really good with rally tires)

Last time through the game I used an Impreza Prototype. This time I'm leaning towards the Focus (Fr0d power ) and the 206, just cause it's done well in WRC.

If you're just looking to beat the AI, most any rally car will work when you max out the hp. However, if you're looking for entertainment, the delta's mudflaps are always good for a quick laugh

My friend tested them all and said the same thing.

I don't know, but the current car I'm using, in the rally races, is the Ford Mustang SVR. It's the only car I've used in the rally races since I last finished the game 6 months ago.

Solid: he was asking about rally cars, not street cars set up for rallying.

I used the FORD Focus in a competition once and was very impressed. Just about any AWD rally car can be set up to win and drive well, but I have driven the Suburu the most. Very nice!

Try a few and see what you think.

First time around I used the Lancer Prototype. Last time the Impreza Prototype.
Overall I like the Impreza most, but I've recently found out, that the rally cars differs more than I first thought. So today I would choose a rallycar for the track and not for my personally likings.

I know I'll get my a$$ kicked for including this car in a GT3 forum, but...

Mitsubishi CZ3 Tarmac Rally Car (from GT Concept), really is a demon on the dirt tracks (despite it's slightly misleading name)...

Hope to see this one in GT4 anyway...
