Favorite single corner

I'm surprised none has said the chase. Its one of the fastest corners in the world getting it right and pulling up for the left and then right at mt panorama with out taking speed out and falling off track is insane.

Last corner on Big Willow, waiting for that apex off throttle, then hammering it as you come to the end of the turn, then clipping the inside curb at full throttle, just brushing the edge of the track as you exit....just marvellous

My favorite will likely always be the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Nothing is more satisfying than perfectly nailing one of the most difficult chicanes in the world.

Honorable mention goes to Turn 1 at High Speed Ring, because nostalgia.

Hi everyone. My favorite corner are:

1.- Spa: Les Combes and Malmedy (corners 7, 8 and 9).
2.- Grand Valley corners 3, 4 and 5.

Amazing high speed corners.

Bye.

Just one?

Maggottsbeckettschapel (All one word from the old Anglo-Saxon to "pull many lateral-G") at Silvastun.

So easy to muck up and if the car in front does... you mug them down the Hanger straight -tasty!

the daytona road course backstretch chicane, that one is so hard to get right every time, your lap could be made or worse. The chicane has a lot of grip, specially if you go in it. The car just dances through there. That's why Daytona road course backstretch chicane is the best corner of gt6

Bandit already said the corkscrew :grumpy:

I'm sorry. I was too quick, I guess. :sly:

Also, another set of corners that are amazing are the first corners at Watkins Glen. From "The Ninety" through "The Esses" to the backstraight. I went to the 6 hours of the Glen last summer, and to see the DPs go through those corners at high speed was out of sight. 👍 But unfortunately, Watkins Glen is not in GT, so I couldn't say that. 👎

I remember when "The 90" was the slippery final corner at Watkins Glen.

- Spiegelkurve at the Proper Nurburgring is a Favourite fun corner for GT6. Everyone has to have a free Favourite Nurburgring corner?

That's easy. It's still the only corner at Nurburgring Nordschleife that regularly trips me up.

The Karussell

You have such a tiny bit of track to work with. If you're a foot too high, you'll slide to the outside. If you're a lil' too fast, you'll slide to the outside. If you're a little to hard on the throttle, your tail will step out and you'll slide to the outside. It's just so unforgiving but so amazingly satisfying to nail on a strong lap.

Curse you Karussell, you'll always be my nemesis.

Nooo so many corners and I can only choose one....

The downhill double left hander at Deep Forest.

Good call, the right hand kink leading into the chase is nuts.

Talk to Fabian Coulthardt about what happens when you get it wrong...

Indianapolis at Le Mans. it is amazing how you dive into the corner./ Porsche curves : so fast so tight. very tricky.
@iainn that section is my favorite from the original circuits.

Ryk

And then the other car tucks in behind you and just before the braking point for Stowe, he pulls out and out-brakes you into Stowe, and then you have to pass him again. :p

Karussell.

Why? Because it always gives me a thrilling sensation when I arrive to it. I'm already far in the thrill of the race itself, and then it comes, and for the second or two I'm in that corner, it's like bliss.

Trust me its nothing compared to the real thing. The vibration coming from each of the plates is just missing.

My favorite corner is currently Bergwerk at the Ring. Its where I had my first "Knee-down" moment while thrashing my motorcycle around the track. Since it wasn't a sportsbike it took me quite some courage to lean that far ^^

Oh, I'm sure that's true. Hopefully one day I'll get to experience it for real.

First turn..Daytona road course 👍 going from high speed to a tight left turn within a couple of seconds!! :)

First corner on Grand Valley Speedway. It's easy to screw it up under pressure but ssoooo satisfying when you nail it.
I have a lot of awesome memories racing against a friend on Grand Valley, and that corner is part of many of them. :)

3rd corner on Fuji Speedway. It's a blind corner with a subtle elevation change, I really love taking it.

It's hard to pick just one, cause we all have at least a few of those most favourite ones. But the Fuchsröhre always fascinated me.

Disregarding all of the obvious I've found myself really enjoying the braking zones in turn 1/2 and 9/10 on the Streets of Willow. With GT6's significantly improved body movement over 5 it's really satisfying be especially brave going through 1 or 9 to slam the brakes and see the car pitch forward as you try to tuck the nose in for the turn following. Most satisfying for me in a car which is slightly loose with a good front end like a street tuned car on Sports tyres (NSX/S2K/RX7).
