This topic was probably made a billion times, but i want to know. i change from time to time, but my favorite song is:

50 Cent- Wanksta

I pity you.

George Gershwin - Rhapsody In Blue, preferably the small-orchestra version.

once again, i repeat-- why do people have to b!tch when someone likes rap! who cares! i don't make fun of the music you or anybody else likes!

Only because "Wanksta" only appeals to those with the intelligence of a 6 year old.

On topic:
Bob Marley & The Wailers - No Woman No Cry.

I don't have favorite but i do like Rhapsody in Blue like Neon Duke. Another good classical is Marche Slave performed by the Gothenburg Symphony orchestra and Rakozcy March by Liszt.

but as far as Rock i Like a version of Johnny B. Goode by Jimi Hendrix. Also by Hendrix i like Hey Joe, Foxey lady, Catfish Blues, and many, many more, by Zeppelin i like the Live at the BBC version of Black Dog and Stairway to Heaven (first time they played it in front of an audience), Umm i also like Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), Definatly all Beatle songs and Paul Mcartney songs, in particular by the beatles i like Everybody's Trying to be My Baby (my life story... he said sarcastically), Kansas City, and Mother Natures Son, and i could go on forever but i'm a horribly slow typer so i'll stop.

BTW i'm 14 and i like no new music...i won't go into why.

i just so happen to be the same way Raptor65

currently it has to be Queen- 'i want to ride my bicycle' for i have had a pin through my finger for the past month and just got it pulled out today, even though i have the pin in there becasue of my bike i still want to go byking.

omg, tsleng! you don't like the same music as me. i am gonna be a cool member and make fun of you. i guess i am now another music nazi. actually, i couldn't care less, you listen to what you want and i will listen to what i want.

It's hard to pick just one favorite.

But at the moment, the Cowboy Junkies' Ring on the Sill leaps to mind.

Now, I wonder how many people on this board have actually heard this song........

Listen, McLaren Racer. It's not because of Rap, but the song you chose. 50 Cent is now mainstream "Pop Rap". I actually hoped that he wouldn't go so mainstream, but I guess the money got to his head. Wanksta or any other of 50 Cent's songs are no where close to good rap. Why would someone pick one of his songs has their favorite is beyond me.

i couldnt possibly pick a favourite out of all the tracks I've got, as i've got that many faves!!!

I do agree with what McLarenRacerF1 says though, about picking on someone elses favourite music (personally i hate rap) but i aint gonna go and force my brand of music (hard rock, HM) down anyone elses throat or hang crap on them for liking something that i dont

BINGO! Give that man a prize. It's got nothing to do with the style of music you chose.

I like everything from Gershwin to Bob Marley to Rachmaninof to Fishbone to Jimmie Dale Gilmore to Nine Inch Nails to Patsy Cline to They Might Be Giants to Elmore James to De La Soul to Tool. Just to name a few.

But I hate sellouts of any flavor.

it only matters if you like it, who give a frig what anybody else says (or thinks) for that matter

Hmmm, this is hard. I'll go with a 3-way tie

Cage "Agent Orange"
The Pharcyde "Passin' Me By"
Big Daddy Kane "Young, Black, & Successful"

Probably:

Pink Floyd - Hey You
or
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

They are song's that I don't think I will ever grow tired of, and thus retain the "Favorate Song" title.

Hmmmm, I suppose a favorite song would be one I would never get tired of.

Black Sabbath - The wizard
Dead Prez - It's bigger than Hip hop

2 Songs that get stuck in my head, frequently.

Welcome to the Machine, too.

(at least for me:))

Oh man...! The bass in that song, in the beginning acually ripped the cones of my Rockford Pro Series woofers... They actually "Slapped" the plexy glass, then just ripped off of the speaker cage...

I don't have a fav. but these are a couple of songs that i'm listening right now.

Finch "What It Is To Burn" and "Letters To You"
Evanescence "Bring Me To Life", "Going Under" and "Everybody's Fool"
The All-American Rejects "Swing, Swing"
Coldplay "In My Place" and "The Scientist"
Lifehouse "Everything"
Moist "Breathe"

and every song from the latest album from Trust Company (The Lonely Position Of Neutral)

Ouch:eek:

But you know what they say, "When all else fails, Duct Tape it!"

My all time favourite that I'll be able to listen to whenever, is Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin.

But my current favourites:
Nil By Mouth - Blindspott
Phlex - Blindspot
Like A Stone - Audioslave

Yep.

The Used - On my own.
