well, i like monaco for challenge in corners and excellent background scenery, and seattle for its urban style challenge, and for sheer speed and to test out my cars capable of pullin wheelies, The test track.

oh yes and if a NEW member named "insomniac" comes round anywhere in the forum, tell him that meglomaniac said "hi and welcome".

The cold makes you tough. I find heat a big problem, actually. Anything above 20degC is a bit toasty for me .

I went to a training course in Wolverhampton in December, there was a fire alarm and we were all out in the car park. All the softies were shivering in their coats, I was in a T-shirt :D

Seattle. R11. Tokyo. Monaco I love street circuits :D wait a minute i think i said this before somewhere else

oh well never mind

My favorite track in the game, and in real life, is by far Laguna Seca. I think the sheer fact that even after racing it countless times, I still spin out occasionally on that Corkscrew, and I still overshoot the final turn.

Monaco is okay, but that track in my opinion is out of date. The F1 cars that race on it are extremely wide. There's no room for anyone to pass practically. I've watched that race in real life, and most of the time, one of the first two qualifiers ends up winning, in fact it's almost always the first qualifier. To me, the 8 feet wide F1 cars that race on it are just too wide to have any real competition. The 4 feet wide cars of yesteryear, now that was a race. Amazing competition, very technical track. But now, I personally think that track is just too tight. If you watch the race in real life, you'll notice that their gears are set so low it's almost rediculous. On that long straight after the 90 degree right turn, they literally change gears every 3/4 of a second, redline in 6th gear before they even get to the chicane, and then turn. Now there's nothing wrong with that of course, but I just think that a track like that needs to have wider lanes to make it really interesting. Anyone past 4th or 5th place may as well not be racing, I'm sorry to say, especially when there's 40 cars on the track at the beginning of the race.

But that's real life, I love Monaco in GT3 :)

Oh, and Monaco as we call it is actually Cote d'Azur in the game. It's in Monaco in real life and that's what most people call it.

wow, neephied i guess that flok born heere get adapted, i can take up to 35+'C since i have been to florida and mediterranean so many times i have adapted to both climates, i am kinda tough u must be tough living in arctic like conditions.

yes but u see monaco makes the best challenge, its a tight course and its got blind corners AND its settings are excellent and also no annoying sand to slide off onto. Who cares how wide a car is i enjoy taking my Dodge viper on the course.
Nissan lover, Monaco is in south france, its got a famous race course going through its streets, well does cote 'd' azur ring a bell thats it, nissan lover might i make the suggestion that u just have a look at an atlas, world maps.

I don't want to get into a big fight here, but Laguna seca has all these things, and a tight course isnt necessarily a good course. At points in Cote d'Azur, there are places where two F1 cars couldn't fit through side by side. Is that tight? Extremely. What do you mean when you say it's settings are excellent? And also, you say that monaco makes the best challenge, but then you say that there is no annoying sand to slide off onto, doesnt that add to the challenge and difficulty?

see ive never heard it called monaco thats all, i dont care where it is, but yeah i love that course, long though, but very interesting, mor callenging because of all the turns and slowin down to like 2nd even 1st sometimes

leguna seca is like my least favorite, maybe baecause i have a tendancy to do stupid **** and i end op spun out in the dirt all the time, thats also the reaasson i duslike grand valley.
