Cool, cool. I used to use my Lancer EVO VI(I think, maybe IV) but then I just started using my Escudo to blast through because I wasn't having fun with it anyway

Enuff with the Focus already! Jeez....

I think you should know that my Impreza only has a Stage 1 turbo...so it has much headroom in the HP dep't... :fdevil:

I haven't a fav yet, but I went through Monaco and, mind you I am not claiming to be quick, but while the track is very cool it is also disappointing. I took the Arcade Oreca Viper there and the Denso Supra (handles how a car should) and became accustomed to the track rather quickly, two or three tries. I thought it would be harder. I forgot my time with the Viper. I think it was around 1:38-1:39. That any good?

Ok! I finally unlocked Monaco and played about 10 laps on free mode in the [arcade]Oreca Viper. All my laps were close to this, but my fastest lap was exactly 1:31.799 :D

I actually just did some rally a few minutes ago with the Escort Rally Car(My favorite looks wise and new favorite performance wise) It was really good, and I actually enjoyed it :D

I dig the special stage routes, Tokyo, and Seattle. They have nice long strait parts, but there are some good curves and corners. You can get the cars nearly up to their max speed, but still have to drop to first in some places. They really test the full spectrum of the cars, and the driver (:

Definetly:)

I just posted a 4.56 on Complex String last night in my turbo Integra Type R....310 bhp, super stickies, and semi-racing suspension :!: It was pretty funny when the front wheels lifted off on the hill just before the second set of esses....I tried to steer, and, nothing! Right into the phreakin' wall. I posted an even 5.00 for that lap, so I took another. That second lap I posted 4.56, and there is still much room for improvement. :D Especially now that I've gotten the full-racing suspension and bumped the output to 320 bhp. :fdevil:

I know someone else here has already bettered this time. What is that time, and what car did you use?

Hey that'd make for a good "mini-competition", I'm going to go do a few laps on the Complex-String myself and see what I can get.

GT-One baby!

Yeeaa, I think I might participate sometime, but we need to do it in arcade mode with a car that we all agree on, ok? Cause depending on how much you've run a car and stuff the hp changes, and we might have different set ups...which actually would be cool, we can do free runs in arcade mode, there you can do settings, but the cars still don't have improvements, then we can test setup and times! :D Eveybody in?

Good idea, but I don't think Complex String is available in arcade mode...?

Just posted 4'50.5 in the newly tweaked 'Teg...Ph33r m3

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHaaaaaa.... :fdevil:

Holy crap! I just play for two hours and forgot to run the test string! Well, Mom has the TV for the next hour or so ... looks like I'm out of GT3 for the night ... more time for the forums! (:

Ah well, we can wait...but not for long. Too many years of video games has shredded whatever attention span I had.

You know, LoudMusic, you could just create a signature rather than type ~LoudMusic over and over again. Also, if you type your smilies with the colon before the parenthesis you get the official smiley: :)

'Course, you may also opt to carry on just as you have been. Just a thought. :)

Complex String is in arcade mode, It pops up in the middle after you unlock all the levels.

Phew!! After reading/browsing the previous posts here's my bit:

I'm not sure if I have a single favourite course, SS11 and Cote are fun, great technical driving with some lurvly fast straights on SS11!

As for the enduro races mentioned:

R246: Took me about 2hr 25 min in my 001, it was the second one I did and while it is a great, fast course i was tearing my hair out waiting for lap 100 to roll round, 2 hours is just about as much as I can take:)

Cote: Couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it! There i was just racing i check my time and i've been going for 40mins, didn't seem it!!

I might try racing seriously on Complex String when I have to but i got enough of it from the final IA test, those ****king circular turns!!!

And yes it does appear in arcade mode, along with Complex String II

And finally I do enjoy rallying, like using my EVO VII and it is especially fun for playing 2 player against mates as anything can happen!!!

I look forward to the F1 championship race at Monaco, that'll definetly be great! But as for the regular endurance, it'll be too easy :D

Well I've come to be known for my "backwards smiley" on many IRC [Internet Relay Chat] networks, and I've been asked, even TOLD to change it. Nope, it's mine and I'll stick with it ... (: The smiley images are cute, but man they get old.

As for the signature ... for some reason I've never gotten into the whole signature thing ... and when I saw the option to turn off everyone's signature in the Options, I thought I'd just key it in on the end of my posts. That way it's always there.

Aw man, I'm running it right now. I got to lap 50 and paused in the pit so I could go get some sleep. I did another 30 laps and paused again. That's where I'm at right now. I'm also about eight laps ahead of the number two car, but I need an oil change. R246 used to be one of my favorites, I don't know after this race if I'll ever be able to bare it again!

I hate it when a race is so long that you need an oil change half way through, those are the times I wish there was an oil change thing in the pits.

Yup yup.

I just finished that race too. Here are my results:

Tokyo R246 100 Lap Endurance

Total Time: 2 hours 31 Minutes 14.144 Seconds
Fastest Lap: 1 Minute 23.860 Seconds
Average Lap: 1 Minute 30.741 Seconds (Hmm, I estimated 1:28.5 during the race, guess I miss judged pit times ...)

I was driving my Toyota GT-One Road Car (TSO20). Here are my settings:
Spring Rate: 10.8, 10.8
Ride Height: 75, 74
Shock Bound: 4, 4
Shock Rebound: 6, 6
Camber Angle: 0.4, 0.5
Toe Angle: 0.5, -0.5
Stabilizers: 3, 4
Brakes: 13, 14
Limited Slip Initial Torque: 0, 20
Limited Slip Accellerating: 0, 44
Limited Slip Decellerating: 0,26
Gear Ratio: Level 36
1st: 3.361
2nd: 2.197
3rd: 1.576
4th: 1.188
5th: 0.941
6th: 0.784
Final: 3.769
Down Force: 0.74, 0.82
ASM: Level 11
TCS: Level 6
Racing Slick tires on the front
Racing Medium tires on the back

I was getting 10 laps per set of tires, but I was driving the car pretty darn hard. My jaw dropped open when I got that lap time. It looks pretty good to me, what kind of times are you guys getting?

I might have been able to get a better overall time if I had stretched out the gears just a little more. On the main strait drag I was maxing 6th gear and dropping speed. Oh well, that two and a half hours of my life is gone, and I'll never get it back ... (:

Sounds pretty good, I don't know what my times are, especially in that car since I don't own it, but wasn't the time worth it? :D What car did you get it?

What car did you get it?

Man, I don't even remember. I didn't get the F1 though. What a pisser. And the 400,000CR wasn't worth it, seeing as how I have over 7,000,000CR that I'm not spending anytime soon.

 I know what you mean

Wow! I just went from having 10 ASC and 5 TCS to nothing! That's some fun ****! I spun out for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times, too :D Plus, on turn #6(I think) the really tight hairpin in grand valley, I would drop down to 1st, then glide around the corner, and jam the gas back up, so my car would fly sideways and almost go off the track, it was freakin' great! I have that one on replay ;)

Jeeeez! Look at all the polls on this forum! Start doing regular stuff people! I didn't make a poll for favorite track and list everything, I let people talk about it, do that! :D
