Ok, based on what i beleive to be the most popular dips, take your pick and tell us what your faviroute is

Mine is Salsa.


p.s. the salsa s any kind ,hot mild etc..

Depends what I'm dipping. If it's nachos, then salsa (hot) but if it's chicken, beef, pork etc. it'll be BBQ. And some blue cheese sauce.

I like salsa a lot but it's not my favorite.

My favorite is the Fritos Jalopeno cheese dip.

Very limited choice, Ash, quite like the Spar, so i voted Salsa but where's the Taramosalata, & only white roe will do !

I voted other, for dip I like a homemade bbq I use tomato paste and onions and garlic minced with a little honey, brandy and freshly and roughly ground peppercorns. Very tasty!

I assume (and yes, I know the implications of assuming) we are referring to BBQ Sauce. My 2 year old calls everything dip: BBQ Sauce, Syrup, Tartar Sauce, etc.

Ahhhhh. You probably don't do it either, but BBQ sauce would be little strong, don't you think?

P.S. I love Fish&Chips with Tartar Sauce! I love it!

I tried my Burger King fries on Ranch Dip from another restaurant yesterday. It was delicious. I was so impressed that I looked for something similar in the BBQ sauce section last night. Instead, I found some sauce called "Some Dude's Fry Sauce". I think they just mixed the mayo and ketchup. It was similar to the BK's Fry Sauce(maybe the same thing), it was just OK.

That reminds me. The best dip ever was one of those layered one's. I think it was bean paste on the bottom, guacamole, then salsa. It was delicious..... I'm getting hungry!

I picked salsa as a dip but I also dip a lot of stuff into ranch dressing. I guess I could have picked other.
I dip pizza, french fries, tater tots, chicken, burritos, and quite a bit of other food into Ranch dressing.

Oh yeah thats good too. If we go to Arbys we always get the Arbys sauce and the honey mustard. Ranch is still at the top of the list though IMO. I have spicy mustard once in a while but not much.
