The gameplay stuff seems to have been mostly covered - I love some of the UI alterations.

Like not having the tuning shop anymore, it can all be done from the setings menu, and adding NOS, which I haven't used yet, but that'll be interesting later on for sure. The bar shaped layout of the main segments is so much easier than the scatterboard one of old, its still left, right, up, down, but its linear, so you know what your button presses will do.

I like, weirdly, that all the cars are in the same place, it sort of eases the fact that standards are in the game, and you can better keep track of which cars you own and need, its not a hunt to find them all. The garage filters seem much easier to use, easier to toggle between them all as well.

The licience test being integrated is actually a really great idea, I'm kind of skipping through the driving segments, just doing enough to get the starts (for now), until I advance to the S licience, or whatever the top one is, then I'll come back, but it extends the length of what is effectively 'A-Spec'.

I like how somehow, I know the physics have improved, but it isn't an out of this world experience from my knowledge of GT5, which is great, because I can get in the game and drive cars I did before in a very similar way, if not an almost identical way, and acheive the same results, my driving instincts have very little in the way of change required for this game, very pleased with that.

Everything...I just can´t stop playing!!! :D

But if I have to choose from different things:

-The menus are incredible...how lovely is to choose your car or change the setup once you are in the events...oh man that is priceless. And loading times of course...a pleasure. Don´t forget the right choice of music to each part of it.

-The overall physics but mostly the weight transfer and how you feel that in your wheel depend the car, where the engine/weight actually is, and how the suspension and tyres behave. Every car feels truly unique compared to what happened in GT5 in where all cars were like cardboard boxes with wheels because of the bad tyre and suspensions model.
GT6 is very very good when it comes to physics.

-One thing that I saw some people complaining about is the tyre squeal...I went to watch DTM past year and PD this time around did a great job in making the sound just like it is in real life. One of the best in a racing game...and it even changes depending in how hard are you turning and the compounds. Very good detail...and also when you hit the "floor" of the car with the kerbs and go out to the dirt, also pretty good. (despite the engines though)

-As usually Nürburgring with the KTM XBow R is one of the best combos so far in the game. But all real world tracks are incredible...Ascari is amazing, Streets of Willow with the Rocket is spectacular,...Tracks, tracks and more tracks!

-Missions (specially those in where you race against the same car in one lap 3 seconds behind) and coffee breaks with that vibe from GT4.

I´m loving this game so far way better than GT5 that I the end I almost hated it. GT6 can be even better if they add realistic engine sounds...but most probably to see that in GT7 so...

That´s it at the moment.

The Goodwood event with the X-Bow R .. what a blast:D

Also Brands Hatch is brilliant and extremely accurate, have driven on it many times in my own car and the way the weight shifts around and car wants to understeer at paddock hill is brilliant, reminds me of being on track sooo much. job done imo:bowdown:

Well, I like the new physics quite a lot. If one has a high powered car, accelerating in a straight line from a stand still is not as easy anymore. I also had some roll overs and so far they all looked reasonable too.^^

The new tracks are great to, especially Matterhorn/Rottenboden and Willow Springs.

The two things that impressed me most are:

1) The UI. It is actually fun browsing through the menus. Visually well designed, logically arranged and very fast.

2) The replays. Looks really great and has a real TV transmission feeling. The only thing disappointing about the replays are the flickering and blocky shadows on some parts of the track.

Driving ferrari Dino on Goodwood stretch, Thought what a great car so i bought one.

I Ruined my Dino by Tuning it and Giving it power Plus a Spoiler. 150,000 credits well spent :)

So far, X-BOW at Goodwood.
Just started using a wheel today and driving this thing on those narrow streets is insane.

Really enjoying the improved tyres and suspension, feels like a step in the right direction from GT5 for sure. Also really liking the way the dealership is done now, no used cars to mess about with, just buy what you want when you want it.

Watching everyone else enjoy themselves while I have to wait.... :(

Have fun kiddos, the LFA nut will be back.

The music. Nostalgia is soooo high right now. Especially when you go to Arcade Mode!

Yes, that feeling keeps rolling back. Keep hearing snippets of Gran Turismo 2 East City everytime i want to prepare for a race.

Amateur cup race, saw a vw gti taking a tight line through a corner and hammered the break to the point where the insider rear wheel raised 4 inches off the ground... I've never seen a car flex so much it lifted a single wheel in a game...

Getting 953 BHP out of my Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur and being able to hit 269 MPH without nitrous oxide and 282 MPH with it. The rest of the games accolades are obsolete to this

I've seen so much nose diving today, I can't even tell you. Any corner under 120* and the rear end of all AI raise a foot or two.

I haven't gotten the game yet, but I've seen some videos at Willow Springs at night, and it is just sublime! I'm definitely going to be spending some time there. Just got to get through finals!:banghead:

Matterhorn (any variant)/Bathurst with the Cizeta V16T, cockpit view and the new tire squeel sound.

Perfection...

driving a Hyundai click/getz on the open desert of willow springs, launching off jumps n stuff... its just awesome

Also the 5-Minute races under B license

They should have had one of the races on La Sarthe for "5 Minutes of Le Mans" lol

- Physics are a definite step up for the GT series, and they seem increasingly consistent with different classes of vehicles!
- Menus & UI are very slick
- Sheer wealth of content, new circuits with very high fidelity
- Great selection of new cars and some "new premiums" (Sauber C9!)
- "Standards" available via dealership
- Soundtrack is very good
- While engine sounds are still very variable, some sound effects (tyre squeal + kerb/offtrack effects) are very nicely done indeed
