Loving the fact that the whole infield at Willow Springs has no invisible borders and can be driven on. I can't wait to do some dirt gymkhana there. There are several opportunities for massive air there; I managed about 20-30 feet in the Honda Fit, so I can't wait to do it in a faster car. Another little thing I like is the fact that the throttle can be controlled with the pedal in reverse (it won't automatically go back to first when you press the pedal). The on or off reverse throttle in GT5 was annoying.

the new tire and suspension physics, and brands hatch.

Ive barely done any career, just bought myself an m3 csl and an s2000 r1 and compared the feel to gt5 on the 'ring mainly. Its infinitely better I think

And the new tracks roster is amazing; willows, brands, ascari, bathurst, I cant wait for online

Also the 5-Minute races under B license

They should have had one of the races on La Sarthe for "5 Minutes of Le Mans" lol
You're joking but when you open up S races, there is a 24 minutes of Le Mans...I think that's the longest race on the game.

The Matterhorn tracks. Narrow, crazy elevation changes, both fast and technical layouts and epic scenery. I'm really looking forward to racing those in a clean online lobby, that should be tons of fun!
Can't agree more... just wowed by this track. I can't recall anything like it in GT5 :S In general all the new tracks have been fun, but Matterhorn was just too unique :D

My favorite thing? PD actually got rid of the stupid oil change and car wash animations. Thank you for listening for a change PD!!

Car handling, lot's more fun with normal suspension.
Not so happy about the amount of prize cars. There turning up quickly.

I have been playing for about 2 hours now. I just let loose the SRT Viper on the green hell, DAAAMMMNNNNN that thing is a beast! It's like driving a scud missile! I got the car with the million creds and GT anniversay cars from amazon and all I can say is WOW...BIG jump from GT5 for sure.

Fellow GTP members, take that animal for a spin....it's truly one of those throwback "drive it right or it will kill you" type cars!

I just looked through the dealerships and all of the Stealth and Chrome Line cars are available for purchase. They also added some extras in the two lines as well. Can't wait for my Stealth 787B

Tyre squeal sounds great!

This 100X

Also the visuals overall, It feels a lot more polished than GT5 did.

And my god.. That course list, Plenty of spaces for new courses to arrive in the form of DLC no doubt, Same for cars in the various dealerships.

The handling of the cars are pretty sweet too, I've had a few races where I pushed a little too hard and kicked the back end out and it almost cost me dearly.

Just finished up a race at lemans that transitioned from day to night over 12 minutes, it looked fantastic! The physics definetly took some getting used to, but I'm beginning to enjoy them as well.

Simply the fact that I have it.

(Mainly due to the fact that I'm out of town and can't play it. :banghead: )

the el camino i bought after the fit !
I did the SAME Thing. Then moved on to a GT350 (still have it), then Nova (Using now), then a T/A (still have) and I've bought another El Camino. HAve all minus the first El Camino

There's lot I like about GT6 so far, but curious what other people LIKE about it so far?

My favourite thing so far is the night sky, feels so much more real driving at night now! I also like the better tire and suspension model, which gives me a better sense of the edge of traction (I'm using a G27). The quicker menu loads and some of the new cars are great too!
I hate the night sky, it's ridiculously hard to see. Me and my cousin raced xbows on wilow springs, and it turned into an off road race. Those graphics though... Beautiful.

There's many things in GT6 I like, a few which stand out would be the new qualifying system for online, the much quicker refuelling in pits and although many will disagree the 24 minute enduro's I've only done the 24 min of Le Mans so far and the ai surprisingly were competitive ( the first 2 or 3 at least ) and if it weren't for them pitting with only a minute on the clock they may have bet me across the line as there cars were quicker in the straights than my fully tuned R18 anniversary.

I'm the opposite I absolutely hate the reverse, I do like the other point you made tho.

The fact that you can downshift to reverse using the shifter and not have to press a button is very nice. I always hated that button thing and was very hard to use when driving with a wheel in a lot of cases.
The tire squeal and sounds in general are much better than any previous GT version.
The physics :)

The new tracks, I like em all so far, had a blast at goodwood ended up golding them all before I left [assuming that there are only 4 sets of them]. Not bad prizes there either over 2 mil in prize cars and over 200K in credits and a lot of fun in the process :)

I even went online for a couple of races to check it out, looking forward to the addition of the clubs and online events.

Hopefully they will give us an option to set a looby to run with collisions on or off and of course I am still looking for a leaderboard system to be in the game. Maybe it will come when they add the ability to do online time trails in a lobby.

Overall I am happy with the game so far, I even like the zoomed cockpit view though I did notice that in at least the one case everything seemed much darker when in this view at first I thought it must be getting dark out but then I switched to bumper view and everything was much brighter, bug?

Another thing that I liked is that I can finally put a wing on the back of my Cougar, couldn't do that even in GT4 but can now :)
