They ask 49 for 7 mil, you really think it's just an "early game issue"? Lol. We were right, sadly.
In the other freaking thread everyone was like "how do you know"...we don't need to run a big company to understand a simple business decision. People get it only when they have it right in the face.

The entire gt planet community should say a big no to this BS, i really hope nobody here will buy credits. Really, this is the biggest gt community, we should start something. Maybe nobody will listen, but we can surely avoid to support this.

They must have been out of their freakin' minds when they came up with the pricing for the credit packs!
I can by the whole game in NZ for $99. The 7 Mil pack costs $95 and I could blow that on one car!
Nobody should buy any credits at all so Sony/PD get the message this is not acceptable.
If they want micro-transactions make them MICRO. $1 per million would be acceptable. I might pay $10 for 10 million and the thing with that is many would and they would actually make some good money from their scheme. It's just common business sense really. You can over price something and sell maybe 1 a month or price it much cheaper and sell 10 a week - you make less profit per sale but much more in the long term as you get much more sales. With the game credits it's all profits - they aren't actually selling anything they've had to put any real effort/man hours into!

What I'm most worried about with this economy however is DLC pricing - if they use the same logic what will that cost!

Take the GT5 Racing Car pack - $15.15 here in NZ - the cost of the cars in that pack in GT6 = $8.4 Million so would they charge over $100 for an equivalent car value pack in GT6!

Car Pack 3 has $2.7 Milllion of cars - it cost $11.35 in GT5 - it would cost around $40 with GT6 credit logic.

So then if the GT6 DLC is priced about the same as GT5 and we can purchase say $7 Million worth of cars for $15 what does that say about the credit pack pricing?! :boggled:

Sad, very sad. :grumpy:

you don't even win many cars for golding/finishing events compared to GT5

seasonals also don't pay much. doubt they plan to change it like they did in GT5 where they increased payouts + had multiplier for daily logins

with the low payouts seems like grind or cough up some cash :(

This thread doesn't need to die; it's an important issue.

While Sony has every right as a company to try to charge for whatever it likes we as consumers of their products don't have to put up with their tactics.

Has anybody bought in game credits yet with real money and or does anyone intend to?
