It is obvious that only after a few days/weeks after the release of the most anticipated GT title, it came under harsh scrutiny and criticism. More currently, I noticed fans of the title have started to lose interest as more and more threads/blogs/reviews like this have begun to surface across many GT and gaming communities. Very unusual for such a mega title, but also understandable. Does anyone have any ideas as to what new features could be implemented to completely revitalize the fanbase?
Obviously PD did add Seasonal Events and Online UCD features which update weekly. Is it enough for the more accomplished players?
I see that some players get bored, having completed the A-spec/B-spec races and find Online gameplay extremely unappealing. Perhaps other players feel rather confined in terms of creative freedom (since this has become a factor over GT5's production) and could use something a little more engaging? Some of the new features seem unfinished or rushed, maybe they might need something to really solidify them as a viable time killer?
Gran Turismo 5 is different than all the other GTs in that it can have DLC developed for it to improve or enhance the experience. Perhaps new features could be a realistic option in the near future and perhaps PD might use GT5 as a testing ground in its later stages for "beta applications" intended for GT6. Now that we've all had more than enough time to base a well-rounded opinion of the game, what are some features that you think should be in GT5?
I'm not asking for more opinions on more premium cars, or tracks, or sharpened graphics on Standard cars... I'm asking for completely new but relevant features or even improvements on existing ones. Things you think are just missing and that would grab your attention. 💡
