Thanks to the excellent seasonal events, I can buy some fancy cars for some of the events now. The Lambo was easy, since a 560 takes care of 2 separate race series. But now I need to pick a Ferrari. The Scuderia was fun in the special events, but I haven't driven any of the other newer ones.

Any ones to avoid? I won't be getting the Enzo, too much $$$ for one event. I have personal preferences but don't want to buy a gimped car. Just any general advice you have on any of them you've driven would be great. Handling, power, snap oversteer, etc...

Thanks in advance

458 Italia? I bought one for a event, I drove a 430 Scuderia too in the Grand Tour Special Event. If you tune a 458 a bit its a very good car, but the 430 seemed more fun.:sly:

I got all my Ferrari's for free. That includes the Italia, California, SP1, F40 and Scuderia. They were all gifted after completing a race or championship. Maybe I got lucky?? Whooray for me! :dopey: My favorite so far is the Italia. Seems to handle better right out of the box.

I bought a 512BB early on. It's a pretty fun and tossable car but not exceedingly fast. You win the F40 in the B-Spec Italia race so no need to buy that one.

I looked at both the 430 Scuderia and 458 Italia for a bit before picking the Italia. I can't stand the way the Italia looks but its faster and costs less than the Scuderia so that is why it prevailed for me.

I bought the regular F430 because I loved the one in prologue, I didn't see they had the 07 Scuderia until I drove it in the Grand Tour. They feel very similar.

On sport soft the F430 is a very competitive car. I came second in a stock version of the F430 06 in the Ferrari event, but I don't think it can win it stock. The lead Enzo was about 10 seconds ahead and the other Enzo was all over my ass on the final straight.

Do you recall which series? I may continue to play forward and come back to the event if I can just win one.
