I remember seeing your name along with three other GTP members like GTP_EDK in a session. I once saw guys all with Ferrari’s. Something planned it looked like. Good clean racing. 600pp is a lot of fun.
Excellent video. I can never find anyone to race in that event, and when I do it's usually againts one other guy. I think I raced you once (PSN Brakefade).

Have you considered recording your voice with a mic (any headset would do) and play it "over" the game sounds? (i think of Yatzhee from Zero Punctuation as a reference)... would make for some even better listening and stuff...
And while i'm at it... you should consider making a blog man... with different subjects such as car handling, tuning and all those other things... 1 video at a time... and so forth... just a though, but you're doing a hell of a good job with this!

Anyways, I looked up what you recommended and istened to some of Yatzhee’s reviews…man that guy speaks fast! I do have a mic, I will give it a try. It would definitely allow better focus and to later collect my thoughts to provided a more complete review rather than one that is live during race. I will consider that next time. The reason for the live commentary is to give a sense of real time.
You’ve got good ideas and so have others that have provided input either through Messages or comments. I’ve collected them through out and am trying them all out here and there. This was an experiment too, trying to race and talk. Thanks.
Very nice race BreakerOhio. That last lap is part of the reason why I enjoy auto racing so much. I remeber winning my first Kart race when I was 12, it was on a dirt track in North Carolina. I was hooked and its been in my blood ever since. I'm 35 now. I've graduated since then and have been racing Late Model Stock Cars. I can tell you have the passion...its like a drug. Odds are we will never race a real F1 so this is the next best thing. I only raced with you one time last week but got punted off and I was never able to catch you and do some good side by side racing. I keep looking for you, but to no avail. Also I saw no lag between the wheel and the game. It all looked spot on! 👍
That’s the cool thing with racing, age doesn’t really make much of a difference. You’ve been at it for 23 years now and I believe you when you say it’s like a drug. I really got involved because of the drifting aspect of cars. Like sports it was challenging to practice and build on the coordination to perfect something. Now with the introduction of online races, its so much fun joining online race….even with not knowing who you will race with and just go for it and see what happens. Picking different cars and running again to see how well if I choose a different car. This part of racing is getting to me because I like the discovery and tuning part of it. I wasn’t as much about time and race before because the reward and measurements weren’t there in single player mode. But with online, I am drawn in more like a drug, to practice, measure and find out what it takes to be a better driver personally. Alot of my online experience I try to evaluate my tuning and the car I choose against other cars in the race or other cars I previously used, win or lose it's very addicting!
It’s the next best thing to the real thing when access to tracks to really experiment and learn is not easily accessible. Virtual racing allows us to make our mistakes on own terms to learn and even with idiots racing online, it’s good practice to build on the instincts to react to misfortunes that could happen in real life.
Nice Job...I was running that race last night, not many people join but I had some of the cleanest races I've ever had online. Very enjoyable.
I know you've been told to use both feet, that was going to be my first comment but another thing I noticed is you were wearing shoes. Am I the only one that can't run with shoes on? I wear socks and seem to get a much better feel on the pedals. Anyone else have this problem?
You got to wear some low profile shoes and it will work. Like racing shoes or indoor soccer shoes. Anything with thick soles doesn’t provide sensitive control. I used to play in socks, but I tried changing and I like shoes better now. I think it's better to film in shoes rather than socks so I learned to like playing with shoes.
