This is the second turbocharged Ferrari after the California right?

Can't wait for the GT3 version.

I see 488 as F430, while 458 as 360. In other words, the successor looks better than their predecessor.

I just came.

Not much of a scream coming from this car. Everything sounds muffled or it was all recorded from interior (except the obvious track fly-by)...

Looks good, not too good on the sound though..

+1 on the looks
-1 on the sound (from the video at least)
The 458 sounds so good in person. I'm curious about this.

The Spider is here. And it draws even more attention to those dorky doorhandles.

Did anyone expect it to look any different? Take 458 Spider detailing - Add to 488 GTB.

Loving the colour though. 👍

Im digging this :dopey:. Not the wheels though :guilty:

That rear quarter is just...... all of the wants and in that color.

IMO, the front looks like a generic supercar. It longer has that Ferrari feeling that the 458 definitely had in the front. The side intake is too sharp and edgy. If its functional, then I don't mind it as much. Same goes with the door handle. It looks like an after thought, like, "We'll make the side curve up like this, give it that Italian sexiness. Oh 🤬, we need a door handle". The rear is just perfection though.

Unpopular opinion time: It's awful looking like every Ferrari since the 360 Modena.

I'm actually a big fan of the 360 CS, but otherwise I agree. The 458 is stunning in profile, but as an overall package, it falls down. Ferraris haven't been genuinely pretty cars in a long time now.

I'll also never tire of pointing out how awful the door handle placement is on the 488. The Spider just draws more attention to it. So stupid.

"Just had email about going to Portugal to drive a McLaren, so, in the spirit of being a smug *******, I'm going to do that, see ya."

The roof & a-pillar remind me of a Lotus Evora while the back has some new NSX shapes.
