Yes, it (AS) does make it easier. I have to disagree with your statement that I have bolded. While it does take a bit more skill to use no aids, that doesn't mean that the ones using aids are less talented. For instance, If this TT had SRF and Active Steering locked to off, you would still have the same people at the top of the leaderboards. In a sense, using myself as an example, you are saying that I am less talented just because I choose to use aids. To that I would say, look at my WRS ranking (D2 Silver) where we use no aids (apart from ABS 1) and grip reduction set to real, and tell me I am less talented.

You can't, my skill level is the same with or without aids. I am still a top 50-100 driver either way. I would be around the same spot on the leaderboards if this was a SRF and AS forced off event. Another example would be the top guy on the leaderboards, (don't know who it is atm) he would be there, or very close, regardless if aids were forced off or not. He is not any less talented just because he is using aids or not. The use of aids does not make you any less talented on a whole.
