There hasn't been a good looking Ferrari since the F355 in my view
Seriously? I am a car designer who generally likes overtly aggressive cars like Lamborghinis, and a have to disagree.

I respect your opinion though.

This is one of my favorites 😎

The very first Luce sold tonight for an unfathomable & absurd about of money, the only saving point being that it's all going to a charity Ferrari supports.

For comparison's sake though, someone paid equal money for this Daytona this weekend.

I actually had to read that twice. That has to be money laundering or something. But like you said, at least the money supports a good cause. Still crazy!

Might see one at some point. Arriving next year from October-December.
Yeah that's because us Aussies are the main ones buying this rubbish. That is why China is so influential in our market 'cause they can make EVs cheap and flood us with them. I'll stick with my Mazda thank you very much, and if I had the money I certainly wouldn't be getting that thing

For $40M, I'd be expecting it to be tailor-made into a proper Ferrari.
I completely agree, just compare it to the gorgeous HC 25 that was unveiled earlier this year. One of the best modern Ferrari designs imo. It’s a one-off custom model but it still costs less than 10% of the Luce.

$40m for a $600k car that’s no quicker than a $120k car and looks like a $40k car?

Tax right off or not, it’s a bonkers amount.
From what I've gathered today online, there's more than likely a backroom deal involved, meaning the owner gets an allocation to a future SP vehicle.

The Daytona SP3 that was sold for charity last year got an extra allocation to a F80.

Yeah, it's funny, my wife was saying whoever bought the Luce jumped the queue just to say they have a new Ferrari. Pretty much we both thought now that person gets to be one of the chosen few for a Ferrari special, now look at what @McLaren posted.
Honestly, if I had the money to spare I‘d buy a crappy Luce too, if that got me an allocation for an F80. 😂

The guy (Herbie Wertheim. Apparently) is 87. I hope they've got a future SP in the pipeline. He also bought the SP3 from last year. Big philanthropist, sounds like a good guy.
