Lamborghini or Ferrari?

i think ferrari is for the older people of motorsports, where as most teenagera prefer lamborghini now, more people know the gallardo more than nearly any other super car

As an older person, 60 years old, I'm not a fan of Ferrari.

Too many rumours in the old days of 3litre F1 cars running a 4litre sports car block at Monza, for them all to be untrue. Frankly they seem to have the F1 authorities in their back pocket, more money than any other team and rules that apply to the other teams seem to not apply to them. Also they managed to get the next formula engine rules changes from 4 cylinder 1.6 litre blown to 6 cylinders. Give me a Alfa, Maserati or Lambo any day over Ferrari!

...Partially true, also if they had F1 wrapped up so well, then why does everyone seem to be following the new hot item these days? That being RBR. Better yet why don't they have more championships, and why was it reported that back in 2011 that Merc GP was rumored to have spent the most money.

If it were up to me I'd take the real italian that isn't being named...Pagani.

If you were to give me a Ferarri or a Lamborghini then I would'nt say "no"!

However if I had to buy one (and they were the only choice) - both have their merits...
Can I take a rain check? or possibly have both (not necessarily at the same time though - I'm not being greedy).

btw...I would give back a FF if were given to me!

I know it's not a choice, but... Audi.

That being said. Ferrari. It's so bleedin' hard to find a mechanic who knows lambos.

To answer the question Ferrari or Lamborghini...
Ferrari, because they HAVE automotive history!!
(they both have fast and cool cars, but the above is that count!!)

IRL, Lambo any day. That said, I wouldn't say no to a 458 or similar  I just don't think Ferrari are making cars as good as the Aventador and Murcielago SV anymore.

In game though, due to the lack of Lambos... Ferrari.

Oh yeah, well Lamborghini has tractors... :p

I agree with you on Pagani. Although they do need to bring out a larger variety of models, not just the Huarya and the Zonda (all 6000 different versions of it dont count either)...

Ferrari & Lamborghini have great looking cars that wont look out of place in 20+ years.

However Lambo's seem to be a bit bulky and heavy could you imagine driving down a european side street or even an old town it would be terrible here's why.

No vision out the back.
Its too big and bulky.
No parking areas having to drive along way to find one then walk back.

But dam they look good.

For me i would get the Ferrari they have everything i would want in a true supercar and in day to day use it would be a class above the Lambo.

It all depends.

Ferrari has the race pedigree but Lamborghini can't pretty much annihilate any of their cars.

Ferrucio Lamborghini never wanted his cars to be raced, only enjoyed. So fully modifying the cars is personal opinion. I actually don't, I use them to cruise on Free Runs, but I've raced my Gallardo a few times.

Ferrari cars are more aggressive and harder to control but the 458 is perfect and really puts Ferrari" up there" in my opinion. I don't actually like many modern Ferrari's as they've lost their character and also the fact that they're not the best anymore; only the 458 can contradict this argument.

In my opinion however, I'd rather be driving a Lamborghini in GT5. They're beautiful, fast and now even easy to drive.

Both Ferraris and Lamborghini's are often used as a weekend car, not an everyday kind of car.

All those problems you pointed out exist in big Ferraris too - Enzo, F50, F40 etc..

Also, Lamborghini have an everyday car that's probably just as good, if not better at being an everyday car than a Ferrari, the Gallardo.

Just my opinion though, I do agree about what you're saying as the Countach, Diablo, Murcielago and Aventador suffer from the problems you mentioned. But they're drivers cars, not for going to the shops in.

Pah - even in the past Lambo's had monster rims -

They are so far ahead of the curve they need Audi to slow them down.

I would have to say Ferrari because in my opinion they have SOME of the BEST looking cars in the history of the automobile. They are made to perfection and they can put out immense speed. I mean think of the 458, Enzo, F12,Tesstarosa, 330 P4, and the 599 XX,. All have crazy HP and are beautiful. But Lamborghini has its fare share of power crazy beasts of beauty. Like the Muira, Gallrado, Adventador, Countach, I could go on forever!

For me, I like Lamborghini's more by a good bit. I really love the Aventador, because I'm not a huge fan of 4WD supercars, but I think they did a great job. Not that Ferrari's are bad either, I have gained a lot more respect for them after driving them in GT5. I really hope we can get a Countach 5000QV or a Diablo SV, but I see PD putting more Ferrari's in before they put more Lamborghini's in the game.

I did say in the past they were rumoured to be ...

They do get more money from the FIA than any other team, it's written into their contract and has been for years. The excuse is they have been in F1 since it started in 1950, no other team can say that.

Also they were found to be using an, "over rev' limiting device" in the later stages of Schumacher's time with them that 'accidentally' had the effect of working as a traction control. several drivers reported hearing this in operation out of slow corners to the authorities before it was investigated. Only then were they told to remove it and no penalty was applied. Contrast that to the way other teams get penalised when they are deemed to be in breech of regulations. As is right an proper, a regulation should apply to all or it's not a regulation but an handicap.

Lamborghini is not even close. Sorry.

Ofc, this is my own opinion.. And just that, an opinion.

But I can evaluate if you want.. ;)

Like the older ones from both brands better than the new ones. I like them evenly.

I agree. I love Lamborghini, but Ferrari is just in a different league. I'll let Denilson clarify. :p

I like Ferraris more. The Lambo's 4WD system just doesn't work. You expect it to keep you gripped to the road, but it doesn't.

I suppose you've driven both cars at the same speed round the same corner.

Better yet, I suppose you've driven a Lamborghini in real life to know that the 4WD system "doesn't work".

I think the 4WD system works perfectly, push it too hard and you'll understeer - meaning you're going to fast for the corner. Try the same speed in a Ferrari round the corner and compare.

From purely a car perspective, I'll have to say Ferrari. Their cars are just amazing. However, if you look at the way Ferrari handles business and testing of their cars, they are class A arrogant A-holes. Someone needs to clean up the leadership in Ferrari.

Ferrari for their older cars (and some new ones like the F12B, 458, and somewhat the FF).

Lamborghini for the design of their newer cars. Aventador is damn beautiful .

Ferrari for their performance, period. Sorry, but I just hate Lamborghini's 4WD (though I've never driven one IRL, I've heard they drive like a boat :yuck:).

Ferrari for their herratage and history.

Both for the beautiful sounds they make .

But yeah, I <3 Ferrari :D.

I never liked Ferrari for some reason. It are the cars of the last decade(s) that don't grab me (at all), when I see historic Ferrari's however I'm amazed. I don't like the styling one bit, neither handling (the last in GT5, wouldn't know IRL). I thought the front of the F458 Italia looked good, but then again, it's just the front.

I do love Lamborghini, and that has nothing to do with not liking Ferrari.
I think Lamborghini does a great job in the current era, maybe even better than in its past. Lamborghini's still have that vulgar styling while being modern, but now they also handle better and are reliable (thanks to Audi). I think the Murciélago and Aventador are just amazing.

Gallardo > 458
Countach > F40
Aventador > Enzo
Miura > 512BB
599 > Murciélago

Lambo 4-1 Fezza, therefore...

Lamborghini > Ferrari
